Chris sat on his sofa nursing a mug of coffee chatting to Stone and Mike about some Temple of the Dog plans, the two had shown up at his door asking if Eddie was around, he was supposed to be in the studio but was an hour late so they did the logical thing of checking in on him, only he wasn't there. The three chatted away until a rough looking Eddie entered, his hair was more of a mess than normal and he was wearing the same clothes as last night, Stone raised an eyebrow,

"Get lucky last night, Ed?" Eddie glared at him before flipping him the bird,

"Definitely not." Mike looked to Stone and then to Chris all three of them shared the same confused expression, what was that supposed to mean?

Joanne rushed to work praying that she wouldn't be too late and that she'd be able to sneak in unnoticed, which of course in a room of profilers it was a difficult thing to do. She made a beeline for her desk and let out a sigh when she sat down, she'd made it into the office without being quizzed so maybe she'd done it,

"Where have you been missy?" Eleanor whispered in her ear which made her leap out of her chair a string of expletives leaving her mouth,

"Fucking hell El! I overslept!" Eleanor gave her a knowing smirk and nodded,

"Oh, of course, I know what you mean." She said with a wink,

"No seriously El, I overslept- I fucked up." She explained to Eleanor everything that had happened the previous night and Eleanor was nothing but sympathetic,

"Oh gosh Jo, that's terrible! I've been sent to go to Quantico for a briefing, but you could take my place if you want, it would give you a few days away from it all- I'm sure William won't mind." Jo pondered the offer for a few moments,

"You know what El, that would be fab. I want to get out of this arson case anyway-" Jo began but Eleanor interrupted her,

"Well it's settled then, you fly first thing in the morning, you might as well go and get packed. I'll come over later with wine!" Joanne thanked her and retreated to her car, she needed to get out of the city, get away from Eddie. On the way home she drove past Jeff and Dave, they were just walking into a coffee shop, so she pulled her car over and jogged in after them, she needed caffeine anyway.

"So yeah Stone said Eddie did the walk of shame this morning, my bets are that he's found some sort of rebound chick." Jo overheard Jeff telling Dave,

"Nah, Eddie isn't the rebound kinda guy," Dave replied and Jo smiled, if only they knew he was with her,

"Hey, guys!" She said pretending she hadn't overheard their conversation,

"Oh hey, Jo! You look very official," Jeff said gesturing to her outfit which consisted of a navy pantsuit and a pair of heeled boots,

"Thank you, Jeffrey, what are you two up to then?" She asked, there was a relatively long queue which would mean she could make small talk and squeeze in the details of her trip all before ordering her coffee,

"Don't call me that Jojo!" Jeff laughed squeezing her cheeks, which prompted her to swat his hands away, "We're just on the coffee run, then we're headed back to the studio, what are you doing?" He questioned all while Dave stood listening intently,

"Oh well I'm just getting some caffeine into my system then I'm heading home to pack," Before she could finish her sentence Dave interjected,

"Wait, you're leaving? You can't leave! You aren't going back to England, are you? This is gonna kill Ed!" He began rapidly firing questions and accusations at Jo, who let out a quiet chuckle,

"I'm not leaving, I'm going to Quantico for a briefing, I'll be back by Saturday. And I wouldn't go back to England even if you paid me." She replied, both Jeff and Dave relaxed a little,

"Was England really that bad? I've always liked the idea of the place, I mean we're planning on going there on tour next year-" Jeff began rambling while Dave placed their order,

"No, no, no. England was amazing, I loved it there and it will always be my home, but there are a lot of bad memories there. And I was always living in fear that my parents would try to find or contact me, which I don't want at all. If you go on tour don't neglect the rural areas, if you get the chance to go exploring because trust me there's so more to England than London." The two musicians nodded as she spoke, once she finished her ramble she placed her order for a double shot of espresso which made the guys look at her like she'd just ordered a shot of vodka first thing in the morning, "Don't judge me, I need the pick me up! And I need it to make this hangover that is threatening to appear to piss off." The two laughed at her and the three began walking outside, "Well tell the others bye, for now, we'll have to meet for drinks or something on Saturday or Sunday when I'm back."

"That'd be good, see you soon, Jo." Dave responded before pulling her into a hug while trying to keep his coffee tray even, Jeff did the same thing and managed to spill some coffee down himself,

"Well see ya." She said as she got into her car, waving at the two as she drove away.

Jo spent the next few hours packing, she wanted to pack some business-y clothes and some for going out at night, she was determined to find something to do on the evenings, maybe she'd made a new friend and they'd go out for drinks or something so she prepared for every occasion- she terrible for overpacking every single time she went away. Once she'd finished packing she decided to put some music on and just jam until Eleanor arrived so she put her walkman on and danced around the apartment, tidying up as she sang along to Aerosmith's Rag Doll.

After learning that Joanne was leaving for a few days Eddie had an internal battle, do I go and clear the air about last night, or do I leave her to it? All through the band practice he debated what to do, he was tempted to ask the guys for some advice but he didn't wanna make it awkward for them, so after practice, he went home and confided in Chris, who was actually able to put things in perspective and help him reach a decision.

Jo was still dancing around her apartment jamming by this point she'd had a couple of beers and was just singing slightly louder than normal, she was singing along to Skid Row's I Remember You like her life depended on it,

"You said I love you babe, without a sound

I said I'd give my life for just one kiss

I'd live for your smile and die for your kiss"

Eddie jogged up the three steps to Jo's door when he got there he could hear her singing and he had to hold back a quiet laugh, before remembering once again he wasn't happy with her. So he reached to open the door,

"I don't think so." A voice called from behind him, he spun around to see a petite woman with auburn hair walking towards him, she had a bottle of wine in her hand and she didn't look happy to see Eddie,

"I'm sorry who are you?" He asked,

"I'm Eleanor, and you are Eddie Vedder." Eddie nodded, still cautiously eyeing the woman in front of him, "Well Eddie, you are going to come down here and get in your car and drive away, you are going to stand the fuck down. Let her go away on her trip, then call her when she gets back. Should you go in there now it isn't going to end well and you could both say things that would ruin the chances of you getting back together in the future so I'm asking you to walk away." Eleanor gave him a small smile as he walked towards her, "I'm rooting for you both."
