Hail

I still feel warmth of love for you...

In my glacial mounts of feelings true.

Though you can't melt me completely anymore,

You're working good to pit my core.

You scrape my walls with fiery nails,

Don't shut your ears to my deafening wails.

My droplets freeze to stony hail,

When caught in air by your thunderstorms.

And then your hold on me just fails,

My build too heavy for your scrawny arms.

You tell me next we aren't bound,

So you let me fall hard to the ground.

Breaking into pieces, I turn to drops...

Little by little, I thus collapse

True, I'm too huge

For you to break,

But I'll be gone

Once you attack-

With sweetest "sorries"

Of honesty's lack!
