Chapter 16: Anniversary

It has been a five years since Gon and Killua were dating, and today was their anniversary, also known as 4th of July. That is when Killua thought that it was time to fianlly make Gon official to him. He woke up early in the morning to purchase enangement and planned to make a date for them.

Killua decided to surprise Gon and go over to his house to wake up. Killua over Gon's bed and kissed him on the lips deeply, making his eyes flutter open. He closes them again and kisses Killua back in passion snaking his arms around his waist as Gon wraps his arms around his neck. Killua accidently falls in the bed with Gon as they continue to kiss. They break the kiss and look at each other in pure bliss.

"Happy Anniversary, Killua,"Gon kissed Killua's forehead.

"Happy Anniversary to you too, Gon," Killua snuggles up in his chest.

"So? You already have the day planned out for us, I suppose."

"I do, fortunately. Get changed, and I will wait for you downstairs."

"Alright then. It is too bad that I have get up though..."

"Just get up already."

"Fine."

Gon got up mumbling of how much he was tired to leave the bed; Killua left the room and waited down stairs for him. A few moments later of Killua playing on his phone, he hears footsteps coming from the stairs. Gon comes out with a green flannel and some black pants to match.

Gon's style always seemed to pull Killua's heart strings.

"Come on, let's go," Killua said wrapping an arm around Gon's neck.

Killua thought that the fireworks show should come last, because that is the location he decided to purpose to him. There was plenty of events that he wanted to do before the show started.

                                                                   

The night was filled with stars, and Killua and Gon had their hands intertwined, sitting on the grass, as they waited patiently for the show to start.

"Today was great Killua," Gon looked at Killua. "You really did have the day planned out for us."

"Yeah, but you did want to eat somewhere else," Killua said.

"But I thought you were fine with it."

"I was, it just didn't make me full though."

"After the show, we can go somewhere else to eat," Gon went in Killua's lap and nuzzled into his chest.

That is when the first firework shot up in the air. Gon's eyes sparkled in delight making Killua stare at him in enchantment. In the middle of the performance, Killua decided to do it.

"Gon, I wanted to give you something," Killua said.

"You don't have to Killua, you have already done so much," Gon remarked.

"No, it doesn't matter. I just need to hear me. For the longest time, I have always wanted to do this. Something that can make us...something more. Ever since I have met you, I have thought of you as a beautiful human being. I always thought that you were an angel that could lift me out of the darkness and make feel like something new. You made feel loved and cared for, you made me feel like a different person. I have always had dreams that something like this would happen so...Gon Freecss?"

Killua bent down on one knee, and Gon was overcome with happiness as tears came from the corners of his eyes. He pulled out a black box and opened it.

"Will you marry me?" Killua asked knowing the feeling of happiness and grace.

Gon nods and said," Yes, I'll marry you!"

Killua slipped the ring on his finger and stood up to face Gon. They both layed a deep kiss on the lips, as they slipped their tongues in their mouth . They wrapped their arms around their necks. They break the kiss and string of saliva connects on their lips.
Gon cups Killua's face gently.

"Killua I love you so much," Gon said dazed in joy.

"I love you so much too," Killua then wrapped Gon into another kiss.
