What happened to us?
When did we start caring about what people thought of us?
When did it get weird between boys and girls?
When did we start wondering if our own friends liked us?
When did we stop caring about four square and start caring about appearances?
When did we start to watch what we eat instead of laughing and fighting for the last piece of candy?
Have we lost the little children inside of us?
The kids we used to be?
Yes we have.
Because now we're teenagers.
And teenagers cannot be anything but teenagers.
That's what they tell us.
They tell us a lot of things.
They tell us we're rebellious and over dramatic.
They tell us we don't know what love is.
They tell us to be perfect.
But then make it clear to everyone else that we are not.
It is a very confusing thing.
Being a teenager.
I am not sure if I like it.
Does it have a return policy?
