Chapter XLIII: fairytales

"Weiss~" I whined half hanging off my bed as I looked down at my girlfriend, the white haired girl was currently writing in a large thick note book, papers and books scattered around her as she scanned pages before making notes.

"Yes Ruby?" She asked not even looking up from her book as she looked over another page.

"You've been studying for ever~!" I whined as Blake looked over from the over side of the room.

"You know Ruby we do have a test tomorrow that accounts for ten percent of our average grade, if anything you should be studying aswell" she said, she herself was currently helping Yang with studying aswell.

"But I don't wanna!" I whined kicking my legs a bit before Weiss finally looked up at me.

"You really should puppy" she commented before Yang let out a roar

"Yep never going to get this" she groaned grabbing the book and tossing it behind her "hey Rubes how many spikes are on a Ursa major again?" She asked scratching her head

"78 on average" I just said off the top of my head, "come on I wanna go play!" I whined again

"I'll play with you Rubes- *ack*"

"No your staying right here until you rember the basics" Blake scolded grabbing my sister by her scarf and pulling her back before she could even stand up.

"But Blake I'm bored!" I whined again before I slipped off my bed flailing around before I hit the ground with a groan.

"Yeah Blake"my sister said sticking her toung out "give the girl what she wants and we can forget all about this anatomy malarkey"

"Yang please, do you want to fail all your exams?" Weiss scolded holding out her hand for me to grab onto as I pulled myself up, after that I climbed back up to my bunk.

"No mum will kill me" she sighed flopping back on Blake's bed.

"Which one?" Blake asked in curiosity

""Both"" me and my sister said at the same time.

"Hey Blake?" I then asked a thought coming to my head

"Humm?" The faunas said looking at me

"How come you never talk about your mummy and daddy?" I asked that seemed to make the whole team look at the dark haired girl, it was tire in some sense, even Weiss talked about her parents every once in a while, even if it was only angered grumbling And Yang talked about them just as much as she talked with them, which at this point is daily considering they seem to loom over our shoulders after the whole leg incident

"Well... we aren't on particularly good turms, I haven't seen them since I was five" Blake informed with a shaky breath before she continued to stare at her book "but nothing about that now, you need to study"

"Rubes she's right, what will Summer think when she finds out you haven't been trying your best" Yang said before she yelped rubbing the back of her hand since Blake had hut it with her ruler when the blond reached for her scroll

"But all this stuff is so easy, and I know it all already" i whined at my sister from my blanket cave which I have been making throughout the whole conversation, at of sheer boredom.

"Ruby" Weis drawlled out sighing before closing her note pad " your already doing the advanced paper you should at least try and study"

"But I still will know everything on the paper!" I whined again. It wasn't a lie I am getting high grades on all subjects all without stupid studying.

"How about this, I ask you a question about Grimm and you have to answer it for me, if you get all ten correct then you don't her to study" Weiss said
