Chapter ten

"kyle" I simply say

"Nicole" he answers back

What was he doing here? I thought i made it clear that i want nothing to do with him. Is he here to beg me to change my mind? Or he could be here to confirm if what i said i meant or not? Does this mean he cares??  Hell!! This is why i didn't want him to come, I'm starting to question myself and the decision i made. No i can't do that! I'm not going back on my word! . Geez i feel like I'm going crazy! Why is this happening to me!?

"What do you want?" I stood with one hand on the door handle looking straight into his eyes where i could see a whole new world through them

"I want you" he was so calm with his hands in his pockets looking back at me

"I said everything i wanted to say to you over the fone, there is nothing to say anymore" i was still holding my ground

"Can i come in?" Should he? Should i let him in? No that would be a sign of weakness. He took a step forward but i blocked him with my other hand.

"No you can't come in. Like i said i have nothing to say to you. So please leave" i wasn't backing down

"Nicole please" he took his face with both his hands and stepped back

"Just leave and don't come back"  i tried closing the door but he blocked it with his hand before i can do it

"Nicole this is stupid!"... He pushed the door and pushed  his way inside and left me by the door. By the time i found the will to move and go inside he was already seated in the dining area

"Hey! . .." i rushed to him "hey! Get out"

"No nicole I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving untill you tell me what it is that you want from me. I'm not leaving here untill you make up that mind of yours okay. So if i were you i would start talking"

Who does he think he is? "I don't owe you any explanations . .. i just don't want you here simple"

He stood up and came to where i was  and Stood right in front of me that we were inches away from each other

"Tell me you don't want me in your life". ..he came closer "tell me to leave and I'll leave" he came even closer that i could smell the mint in his breath "look at me Nicole and say you don't want me"

Did i want to say it?? Of course not .
"K-kyle . . please leave. Forget about me . We are two different people in two different worlds that could never ever come together so yes. ..leave .  I don't want you" i stepped away from him

"Oh i see . .. prostitute life is treating you well"  that hurt.   Without even thinking i slapped him and walked to the door

"Get out now!"

"Nicole I'm sorry. ..that didn't come out right ." He walked towards me and took his face with both his hands

"Just get out and don't come back ever"

"Guess what bro?" Kate squealed as soon as she came through the door

"What?" I was chillin in the couch with a laptop

"So i got an internship at a company. Even though it's not that in line with my course of study. It's pretty exciting to think that I'll have a job!" She threw herself on top of me

"I'm happy for you . I truly am" i tried my best to smile

"You seem distracted though. What is it??

"I'm just tired"

"Is it about . .. the gentleman that was here yesterday?? I might have over heard the start of your conversation"
