~Chapter 1~
"Get the fuck out of here you useless creature." Harry had his hair pulled tightly back as his owner ripped the collar off of him. He can't say that he wasn't glad.
He was thrown out in that instance and he couldn't have been anymore grateful.
He wrapped his arms around himself, making his tail slip under his dirty, white shirt and he let his ears disappear in the mess of curls on his head.
Yes, you've read that right, Harry is indeed a hybrid. It means that he is part cat part human.
They were created by scientist to do their jobs instead of them basically. Harry's IQ was way above average but they can never be treated as humans that's why he knows how to hack into systems and solve many problems in the world of chemistry but he has no idea how to use utensils.
Harry just got kicked out and he was glad for that, it was horrible and his owner was an evil man who only abused him.
He wanted to hide, he knew that if someone sees that he's a hybrid they'll try to take him.
People knew about them this was something that they did.
Everyone has a collar and just like all the hybrids Harry was taught to appreciate and accept the collar offered. They don't have the right to decline anyways. But Harry learned the hard way that humans are evil and you should trust no one who offers a collar.
If you get kicked out like Harry just got then you're free again but Harry can't run away as they've never been taught how to get it off. He has tried it so many ways, tried to cut it, rip it, pull it down but nothing has ever worked.
Harry just kept running until he reached a quieter part of town where he entered an abundant alley and he sat down on the cold and dirty ground.
He let a few tears slip past his eyes but he wasn't sure why, at this point Harry didn't know why he cries most of the time.
He didn't know what a better life would be so it's not like he's missing something he used to have. He has never had anything good in his life but he knows that whatever good is it's not what he's gotten so far that was labelled help or nice.
He felt dirty and used like always, he was starving and really thirsty, he just needed so much right now and had absolutely nothing.
Soon his eyes fell shut but the tears never stopped.

Louis was driving home from school where he was a teacher for two years. Today was the last day and from now he has winter break. He was so glad that he can just spend some time home finally.
He didn't really have anyone, no friends, no family, no pets, nothing. But he tried to keep a positive outlook on life and distract himself before he'd get too lonely.
It's always worse around Christmas to be all alone but Louis will just suck it up. As he was driving he needed to stop at a red light, he was almost home so it was even more annoying.
The light was stubbornly red for an agonisingly long time so Louis let his gaze wander around.
He saw a tired looking woman with three kids, walking down the street. A business man who was gesturing widely while talking on the phone and someone who was jogging. It was way too cold for that in Louis' opinion.
Suddenly his eyes fell on a crunched up form that was sitting all alone in the dark, leaning against a wall just in the opposite alley from him.
Louis looked back at the road only to see that no one was on the street but him and that the light was green.
