Max's POV
I was crying again, it was the last day of camp and I wasn't ready to say bye to Neil. He made me feel safe, and I only felt comfortable eating around him. Neil had just walked in with a hug smile on his face, than saw me crying, and his smile started to fade. "Hey Max, what's wrong?" He said walking over and hugging me. "I'm-I'm not ready to ready to say good bye to you!"
Neil's POV
I felt so bad, did I really make that much of a impacted in Max's life? Good thing I talked to David and my parents, and they said I could go LIVE with Max! Like until we grow old and die together! I'm so happy. "Hey wanna know some good news?" "If that news is you're never leaving my side, than nothing's good news..." "What if I told you that was the good news?" All of a sudden his head shot up and excitement filled his eyes. "Are you serious! By how?" "I talked to my parents and yours and they said I could come live with you!" He tackled me in a hug. "Can I get a picture of this!!??" Max surprising shock his head, probably wanting to get a picture and hang it in his room. He stays buried in my chest, but let's them take the picture. "I want that for my room." I chuckle, because I was right. "What's so funny?" "I was right." "On what?" "The fact that you actually let them take the picture, just so you can hang it in your room.~" I say with a smirk, slowly growing on my face. He blushes and gets off me, "You dont know my life." I get up and bring him into a hug, "Oh I think I do." I say and start to kiss his face, witch I know makes him giggle. He try's to hold it in but fails because I don't stop.
David's POV
Me and Qwen had left because we knew Max would be ok. But today was the last day of camp, and we had to make sure all the other campers parents got here, the first one to go, happened to be Nikki. She had to bring Max and Neil to meet her dad, because he happened to be the one picking her up. I can see why he divorced Nikki's mom, he's very nice, very formal, and actually has respect for Nikki. And he actually called her Nikki, unlike her mother who called her by her really name. "Hello, I'm Nikki's father, Mr. Nikki (they don't have a last name, idk)." Max stays behind Neil, and Neil approaches him.
Neil's POV
"Hi, I'm Neil, and this is my boyfriend Max. We're your daughters best friends." "That is very cute, and thank you for taking care of my little girl. I know she can be a hand full." Max kinda nods, he still has trust issues, but is easing up a little at a time. "He's not much of a talker is he?" I shack my head, "He just had trust issues, he's been though a lot." He gives Max a sympathetic look, and Max just goes and behind David, who is farther away from Nikki's dad, and starts to tear up. "I'm ganna go take care of him, bye Nikki, and Nikki's dad." I than take him to Qwen and David's cabin. "Hey why are you crying?" "He probably thinks I'm a freak! And now he'll never let us see Nikki again!" I bring him into a hug. God help this child, he needs it.
Nikki's Dad's POV
"Your friend Max, is he ok?" Nikki nods her head. "He has really bad trust issues because his old parents used to abuse him." Oh god that poor kid. "Why did he start crying?" She shrugs "he probably thinks you hate him, he thinks everyone hates him. He's a very emotional kid dad." She says and walks to the car. Hopefully he'll have a happier life then before.
Max's POV
Nikki's dad probably hates me, I'm gay and I have issues. I'm surprised Neil is still dating me to be honest. I'm surprised David and Qwen haven't put me up for adoption. I start crying more, why do they do this? "Why do you guys c-care so much about me? Why do you put up with my shit?" "Because we love you Max, and stop letting your mind tell you different." I nod and hug him as tightly as I can, like if me or him let go, I'll die. It was true too, if me or him let go of each other, I would probably die from suicide. So I continue to hold on, "Please don't let go." "I won't I promise." And we sit there for probably up to an hour and a half.
^2 hours later^
Qwen's POV
Me and David had known that Neil and Max had gone to our cabin, they must have fallen asleep, because they never came out to say good bye to everyone else. "I'm going to go check on Neil and Max." David nods his head, and sits with the last camper, witch happen to be space kid. I walk over to our cabin, and open the door. What I saw made my heart melt, Neil and Max we're sleeping in each other's arms, but they were holding on to each other like if one let go, the other would disappear. I didn't want to take a picture without their permission, because I know Max hates his picture being taken without him saying it's ok. David had just walked in, he looked so tired. "Space Kid just left, so let's go put the boy's stuff in the car, get them in the car, than we can get home." I nod my head and go help him with that bags, I can't wait to be home.
^After they put everything in the car^
David's POV
We decided to wake Neil so he could get Max and bring him in the car. We were afraid that if we separated them, Max would wake up from a panic attack. Neil had gotten Max to the car and they were already snuggling in there. I'm so happy Max has Neil I'm his life, it makes it a lot easier on us. "Ready to go home?" I nod my head and get in the driver seat.
A.N.~I love this chapter a lot! Like it's not even that good, but for some reason I love it! Maybe because it has so many Nax moments. I don't know, but I loved it! I shouldn't love my own chapter so much, it makes me sound so snobby. I promise I'm not snobby! Trust me, I'm actually a depressed emo freak, you would not like my book if you knew who I was in really life. Bye~
