The 15 year old girl knelt - albeit unwillingly - before the so called King.

"How do you like it now (name)? Are you enjoying your helplessness?" Sneered the King from upon his golden throne.

"Helplessness isn't usually enjoyable." Replied the girl evenly.

"No, nor is watching your family die!" The Kind roared.

(Name) looked up and flared at the King with such a fierceness that her guards shoes away.
"You cannot blame me for the actions of my forebears."

"And why not?" The King was unaffected by (name's) glare.

"It's hardly fair."

The King rose from his throne and spat, "life is not fair."

I figure stepped away from the shadows created by the towering pillars. His black hair hung over his forehead and his dark skin gleamed in the sunlight. His grey-brown eyes were cold, calculating and devoid of any emotion except a cold rage.

"But that does not give you an excuse to make it worse," he said and brandished his long-sword.
