chapter six: A bad blooming love?

Itachi had been starting to get feelings for you. He had been trying to suppress them for a while now, but he couldn't and he knew it was wrong but he keep the feeling he had suppressed and he knew it would cause problems for you and Shiusi so he had been avoiding you for a week and a half now and you had enough of his games and went to find him yourself, and boy were you pissed.

"Itachi can you tell me why? I WANT A REASON FOR MY BEST FRIEND JUST DITCHING ME THEN GHOSTING ME!" You said with your arms crossed in his door way and looked him in the eye and although you wanted to know, a part of you knew he wouldn't tell you a thing right?

He sighed heavily leaning on the wall his gaze looked passed you and he folded his arms above his chest, he didn't really know what to say he could always make up some type of lie? What good what that really do for him? In the end he'd rather watch you and Shisui grow together and hide his feelings for you and keeping them locked up by why?

"I just needed some space, I've been trying to wrap my head around the Uchiha's coupe okay? That's all so just stop worrying so much," He said taking his eyes from the trees behind you and placed his eyes on you.

You didn't like that answer, it felt like a lie and you wanted the truth and you walked closer to him practically pushing him in the house and looked at him. You had your arms folded across your chest and looked at him with one brow raised and you weren't moving until he told the truth.

"(y/n), listen although I would love to sit here and play games, I do have to go eventually. " Itachi said as he sighed heavily and trying walking pass you and pushed him backwards.

"You are not leaving, until you tell me what's really making you ghost me! I missed all of us hanging out...we were friends all of us and we aren't even talking on mission anymore..." You said looking at the floor wanting to cry, but you managed to keep it together.

Of course Itachi didn't want to see you like this, but he just couldn't tell you what he had on his mind. Nothing would be the same, and you walked forward a bit a tripped on the floor rim and fell on top of him. Both of you stared at each others eyes and something about Itachi's face felt and seemed different.

Itachi's face was slightly and closed his eyes a bit and took a breather. "Standing still I'm waiting around to see if this is real I feel like I'm sleep. Maybe it's my first mistake but that's alright it's crazy how we lost ourselves tonight, but they say we should give it time." Itachi says with his eyes closed and he finally opened his eyes and looked at you. Your eyes were sparkling you were really thinking of his words and looked at him.

"Itachi?.." You called out and he didn't say anything at first and he shook his head and pushed you off, he really wanted to press his lips against yours but could he really do that Shisui? He stood up and helped you up and walked out of the door and left you standing there alone and confused. You didn't know what to say or what to do. You knew something was up.

You sighed and went home and saw Naruto sitting on the couch eating ramen and he looked at you. "You okay?" he asked and you gave him a nod and got dressed in some ninja gear and headed out to the training grounds but not before you kissed Naruto on the head. You walked there thinking of Itachi's words. You stood in the training grounds and closed your eAyes and listen to the wind blow and took out a kunai and threw it towards someone who was walking into the field.

"Heh, trying to kill me already?" A voice said from behind you and your eyes fluttered opened and you looked back to see Shisui looking at you with a warm smile on his face as he walked towards you and hugged you softly. He rubbed your back softly as you had your head pressed against his chest. You didn't anything about what happened with you and Itachi. You just held him in your arms for as long as you could before he went on another solo mission.
