Clary's POV**
I told my mother what happened as soon as I got home, which was a lot earlier than I hoped. And she was beyond mad that I let that happen, she just kept rambling on about how I knew creatures from the shadow world went and and how I should of been more careful and blah blah blah, after about 10 minuets I completely zoned out. The next day I left early in the morning to go out to paint. There was this little secluded place by the beach that most people didn't know about I went there almost every weekend to paint I found that the isolation made it easier for me to focus but today I was not there alone.
Jace's POV**
I couldn't get the red head out of my mind, when I closed my eyes all I could see was her and it was weird for me, I didn't get feelings for girls I didn't love or even like for that matter I never had a crush in my life so why was this girl different. She wasn't very hard to track I figured out where she was pretty quickly by using a tracking rune. I told Izzy Alec that I had found the girl and Izzy had been pretty eager to help me go talk to her, I contemplated this offer but ultimately turned her down because I wanted to talk to the beautiful redhead alone.
I stood and watched her for a while as she delicately flicked her paint brush. After about five minutes she turned around and I looked straight into her green eyes.
"Are you gonna watch me all day or do you wanna talk?" She hissed.
