I smiled at her and she started :
- We live in a very huge forest.
- We obtain energy from sunlight and food.
- Our food is water and mineral from the soil which is carried to us through our stems.
- And you have to do a job. You have to absorb carbon dioxide and convert it into oxygen. We, as plants, we really need the carbon dioxide. It's like a fibre in our bodies.
- That's all. Clear?
"All clear mommy." I answered with a smile.
