(The camera comes on. Luigi is standing in front of it. His hair is tangled and it looks as if he just came out of a windstorm of some sort. When he backs up, it is obvious that his overalls are no longer a denim blue, but a singed and burnt black. His shirt is in no better shape, and charred holes are visible in the forest green. With a sigh, Luigi backs up and flops back on the couch.)
Luigi (tired):
Ugh... Hi guys. Sorry about the delay, we both have had some pretty busy lives, what with the Smash Direct a few weeks back... We actually just got home from that. It's a really long trip, I'll just say that.
(Shouting to off-screen)
Mario! You wanna get this over with now?
(Mario steps into the room. He is no better shape than Luigi, but unlike Luigi, instead of being charred, his hair is standing on end as if suddenly electrified.)
Mario (flopping into the chair by Luigi):
Oof. Sure, what the heck.
(He taps Luigi on the shoulder. There is a sharp sound of electricity and Luigi suddenly jumps)
Luigi (rubbing shoulder):
Ouch! That hurt!
Mario (shrugging):
A thousand volts of that from you hurts more. I think you can take a shock.
Luigi (frowning at Mario):
Uh-huh. Being burnt to a crisp isn't fun either, you know.
(Luigi shakes his head and looks at the camera, attempting to smile)
Alright. Enough dancing around the point. We just came back from another Smash training session. We each have such cool skills, you know. We just had to test them on each other. I'm so excited to see Kirby and the rest of the gang again!
Mario (nodding along):
It has been a while since I've seen Link. I wonder how his smash is coming along...
Luigi (looking at Mario):
His smash? Oh boy, it's a doozy! Good luck dodging that thing, fratello mio!
(shudders)
That thing packs a punch!
Mario (raising eyebrow):
Oh? Well. then I can't wait to retaliate with my own! Fire is the only way to go!
(Luigi listens quietly, looking at the camera with a slight hint of distaste)
Luigi (shrugging):
I dunno. Sometimes the best you can do is draw them in, and BANG! KO the all of them!
