Final Goodbye

     "So, what time does your flight leave?" Nanna asked giving luke a third plate because 'he's a big boy and too skinny'. "It leaves at nine thirty so we're gonna leave in about an hour," Luke responds squeezing my hand.

     "I sure wish your mom-" "let's not even go there, okay?" Kylie snapped making an awkward silence spread around the room. "Hey, let's open the parents," Katie suggested hopping up from the table.

     Katie gave me her present first which was six colorful maternal dresses and a seashell necklace. Kylie got Luke and I pajamas, slippers, hats, boots and sweaters because it's winter there. Kyle and Nora bought a shit load of gender neutral baby supplies. Kris and Felicia got me give abstract paintings (art is my guilty pleasure) and a bunch of candy that they don't have in france.

     "Thank you guys so much. We really do appreciate all of this," I whispered tearing up. "Wait a minute, before you start crying. I got one more surprise."    Nikki and Darla came out with two medium boxes each and then they brought out six big boxes. "Open the medium ones," Darla said excitedly.

     Two of the boxes were filled with plates, cutlery, cups, wine glasses, pots, pans, a toaster and a nutri bullet. The third box had towels and washcloths in here. The final box just had pillowcases and a douvet. "Oh my god nanna, thank you so much," I sobbed. Damn these hormones. "Luke open the big ones, please." I said trying to compose myself.

     The first box was a flat screen t.v. along with the Xbox one. The second box was a dark brown, wooden king sized bed. The third was a coffey table. The fourth was a dining table and the fifth was the chairs. The final and biggest box was a baby crib, high chair, toys, diapers, whipes, blankets, bottles and pacifiers.

   "Oh my gosh, thank you all do much. This really helped out," Luke said hugging my nanna. "All we really need to buy is a lounge and my bed," Ashton chipped happily. "Ill send one," Liz said patting his arm. "We're gonna send this off when you guys leave," Nikki pipped in.

     "Hey we got presents too," Calum pulling out some gift bags. Calum got the baby a black and a grey beanie, a blink 182 shirt and a Nirvana shirt. Micheal got the baby die pajamas and three shirts. They said 'proof that my mom puts out', 'Dad only wanted a blow job', and 'dad sucks at pulling out'.

     "Oh wow, thanks you guys. This means so much," I said wiping my tears. "Babe, we gotta go," Luke said. I have everyone one last goodbye and it was off to Paris
