                          Kylie knotted her fingers nervously.
                          She was going to tell Mason that she wasn't ready for this.

                          NOTE: 
                          While the genre states romance, it can also be many other things. It can be vampire, with Kylie thinking she is not ready to turn. It can be fantasy, where Kylie isn't ready to slaughter the dragon as per their sacred ritual. Be creative!
