Chapter 1

After I arrived home, I went to grandpapa's room. I told him about what had happened the minutes before just now. Grandpapa just smiled.

"so it seems you've met Meliodas" he said cheerily.

"Meliodas? Who's that?" I asked him.

"Meliodas is the sin of wrath, the dragon sin. He's a part of the seven deadly sins" he said, starting a whole bunch of stories about the sins before they were frowned upon.

"and ever since then, nobody's seen any sight of them. Legend says that Meliodas is running a tavern" he said as he finished.

My eyes sparkled. "is there any more stories about them grandpapa?" I asked fascinated.

He shook his head no. "I'm sorry y/n. The Holy Knights have been ordered to rid any stories about them other than the fake ones made by Hendrickson. But I remember a few from when I ran into the sins" he said.

I nodded.

"okay, well.. Thank you grandpapa" I said, smiling. "You have to be sure to tell me more about them sometime!" I said as I left his room to get his dinner.

I came back a few minutes later and gave him his food. He thanked me and we ate, him telling a story about how Merlin saved him from a rogue Holy Knight.

The next morning, I headed to school, excited to tell me friends what I learned and saw. I entered the schoolhouse, My friends all laughing and messing around in the corner. I smiled and ran over.

"Guess what!" I said excitedly

My best friend, Serenity looked over.

"what?" she asked curious.

"My grandpapa told me about-" I leant down, whispering in her ear. "The seven sins" I finished.

Serenity gasped.

"I heard the loud crashing yesterday. My brother and pop went to go help clean up. Was that one of them?" she asked eagerly.

I nodded.

"he said it was Meliodas" I said before the teacher came in, having us sit in our seats.

The day passed, nothing happening.

"I hope something happens tomorrow" I mumbled, bored from the recent excitement.

With that, I lied down on my bed, going to sleep.
