Rey Destroys the Glass

A few days later, Kylo and Rey got a hand-drawn invitation from Poe about an 'announcement party'.

"It's probably Rose and Finn's engagement." Rey says, sticking the drawing to their fridge.

"Well since we already know, we don't have to go!" Kylo says, rhyming like he's in a Doctor Seuss book.

"Of course we're going. Rose and Finn are some of our best friends and Poe probably worked very hard on this invitation."

Kylo huffs but agrees.

Later that week, Poe opens the door to see Kylo escorting Rey into his, Finn, and Rose's house.

"Rey! I'm so glad you made it!" He hugs her gently, so he won't hurt the baby, and then turns to Kylo.

"Hi Kylo Ben! I'm glad to have you here too! Come on into the living room!"

Poe bounces into the living room where Rose and Finn are sitting on the couch. Finn gets up and helps Rey sit down.

Soon Han, Leia, and Luke arrive. Han and Leia smile when they see pregnant Rey (not that they didn't know), but Luke scowls.

"Hope it doesn't end up like it's great grandfather." He mutters.

"Hey! Grandpa was awesome!" Kylo says boldly.

"Mhm. Sure." Luke says, then taking a sip of coffee from a mug no one is quite sure why he had.

The doorbell rings again and Poe goes to answer it. A loud squeal is then heard.

"Bea! You made it! I'm so glad! Oh hi Hux."

"Hi Poe." Hux grits out.

"Of course we'd make it dear, your invitation was so sweet!" Bea says, and Poe squeals.

"Come on! The announcement party is in the living room!"

Once they settled down (Hux just sat on the floor and Bea sat on his lap), Finn and Rose stood up.

"We're happy to have you all here today, so we can share some very exciting news," Finn says, and then nods to Rose.

"We're engaged." She says, and they both hold up their rings.

Everyone claps, and once it settles down Leia stands up to speak.

"We're all very happy for you both, and are behind you guys one hundred percent of the way."

"Thank you, general." Finn says.

"Of course, dear."

"Now, that's really all we had planned, but, Poe has other ideas. Go ahead Poe." Finn says.

Poe squeals and bounces off to his bedroom. Soon, there comes a huge bang, followed by a scream, followed by another huge bang, followed by Kylo yelling about how the loud noise will affect their baby, then Rey yelling that Kylo isn't helping, then Leia telling them both to shut up, followed by another crash from Poe's room, followed by another scream (except this time it was Kylo after Rey smacked him in the head).

Eventually Poe bounded out holding a stuffed bunny.

"I forgot the dvd!" Poe says.

"I'll get it!" Finn shouts. He goes and grabs what Poe's yelling about and hands it to him.

"There you go Poe."

"Thank you Finn! Ok, to celebrate the FinnRose engagement, we are watching Peter Rabbit!!"
