Chapter 4: Stupid revenge

I'm really really sorry for this extremely late update. It has been more than one months and I know this chapter isn't long enough to worth your waiting. There were so many problems appeared last month that I nearly forget to turn on my phone and write. But I guarantee that I will try my best to update as fast as I can from now on

Simon's POV

Whenever a contestant expresses his or her wish to meet the queen, it's when David's boasting that he had met the queen several times before and even had dinner with her, which makes me extremely upset
-Stop showing off, David. I'm so tired of listening you said that almost all day
I shouted, but it is no use cause David doesn't really seem to care about me
-It's pointless, right?! You clearly know he loves driving you crazy
Amanda smirked
The next day, David starts to boast about the fact that he had receive a lot of awards by judging this show, and make fun of me because I haven't got any single award
-You guys see this trophy, and I'm not only have one
He smiled and looked at me, then took another trophy out. All the audiences go crazy and seems really exciting seeing me being insulted. Just like the others times, I just sit without saying, but my eyes actually glance to David's side, and unconsciously, I give him a smile
I thought you would be upset!
Amanda pats at me
-I really do
-But you did smile widely, and don't say anything to him. Perhaps you like him...
-I'm not! Amanda, you could you think that, and I'm straight!
I shouted, trying to deny but I know my face is completely turned red. I try to think about how to revenge cause this is not the first time he drives me crazy.

We get the news that David has divorced with her wife after 3 years together. It must be a hard time for him, but that's also when a intention of making a revenge cross my mind.
Me and Amanda usually go out together at the opening, but today, Alesha expressed that she'd like to go with Amanda and there's no way that I could turn her offer down. Therefore, I have to walk out with David, completely unwilling. Alesha and Amanda come and ask David whether he's still fine after divorce. He just replied with a sad smile on his face, and told them to get ready for the show. But right after that, he rushed to me and place his head on my shoulder.

-Simon! We'll be together all the show today, won't we?! Let me hold your hand and let's go out
He said, in a flirting tone. And then pull me outside

-Welcome our four lovely judges! Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon
Ant said. The two girls walk out in their beautiful dresses. Next is me and David, we both walk out at the same time, holding hands, which makes the audiences go wild. David quickly stepped forward and pulled the chair for me, then carefully helped me sit down
-Why you suddenly be so nice to me?
I asked
-I've always been nice to you, my Simon
He smiled and caressed my face, like he usually does. But this time, I feel there's something strange in David.
I try myself not to mention a word about David's divorce but I can't. Everything kept blurting out, first, is just a question about whether he has recovered yet, and when it came to a peak, I started to joke around his divorce
-I guess your wife... I mean ex-wife must be such happy that she could get rid of you
I laughed. I then realized I've said something really rude.

Amanda's POV

Simon kept making fun of David but there's actually not a big problem until he said something that extremely savage. I turn around to see David's reaction. The first time I've ever seen David ignored Simon, he does nothing but continuing to give the contestant comments
-Should we call this a problem?
I whispered to Alesha
-I think so. Just look at David's cold face. This is actually a serious problem
She replied. And, as soon as the crew told us that we'll have a short break before the next contestant comes out, David left his chair without saying a word  to all of us.

-SIMON!!!!
I shouted
-What, darling?!
-Don't act like you're innocent! Look what you've said to David. You clearly know he has suffered from bad things, and, you behave like a 3 years old mean chid trying to revenge
I continued, try my best to lower my tone
-I just... Ok, I admitted that I've been childish, I'm sorry
-Don't say that to me. Say sorry to David. David always treated you really nice, and is this all you treated him back?! I don't care whether you hate him or not, but there is one thing obviously that, David likes you.

-I know. But what can I do to solve this?
He asked
-Like I said, say sorry to him, face to face in a sincere way. And you'd better say it tonight
I smiled. Simon replied with a nod. I really hope he can make up with Simon. As far as I'm concerned, Simon doesn't hate David at all, he's actually having some special feeling to his co-worker
-I think I will... pay a visit to his house tonight
-I glad you said so. That's a good decision Simon
I winked and pat on his shoulder.
