I was awakened by the sunlight that was touching my cheeks.
“Fix yourself up, then we’ll eat.”
Napasulyap ako kay Csemler the Curly ngunit ‘di man lang niya ako binigyan ng pansin. I sat down in front of the table next to Zach.
“Good morning, Alex,” he greeted back, then continued browsing something on the screen of his laptop on the table.
I walked pass the front seats till I reached mine’s. Napansin kong ako pa lang ang nasa loob ng room with our instructor.
“How was your first day?”
. . matagal ko na siyang kilala.
“I’ll go ahead.”
Napakunot-noo ako.
“I still have some important matters to deal with. I will come back in a minute . . . maybe,” he said in uncertainty.
I’ll make sure he’ll pay for it.” But what made my forehead wrinkled was when he stopped right in front of the doorway, looking back at me saying, “By the way, you really look like your mother.”
Naiwan naman akong napapaisip sa sinabi niya. That was weird . . . really weird.
After awhile, Sir came back for a lecture. Ugh! I hate that baseball player.
“As what I have said, to gain profit is t―” Sir was cut off when someone was already standing at the door.
“Good morning, Sir.”
“You’re all late. Remain standing outside till I tell you to stop.”
Ba’t sila late?

“You’re now free from the punishment.”
Napalingon kami sa may-ari ng boses. It was Sir Robert’s.
