Gryphon sighed as the group stopped to catch a collective breath, "I need you to tell me where we're going right this instant."

The Keeper-who had recently introduced himself as Cyrian-laughed boisterously. He placed a hand gently on Gryphon's shoulder, lingering a moment too long before pulling his hand away with a guilty look. "It's just a short distance more. Don't worry that pretty little head of yours."

Unbeknownst to why, Gryphon just nodded, and turned to address the rest of the team. "We're almost there guys. Cyrian says it's just a little further before we see what it is he needs our help with."

Two members of the team shared a look, uncertainty plain on their faces.

The Dwarven warrior known as Emerald was used to doubting people's words-since pretty words often hid dark intentions. A lesson she knew too well. Especially those pretty words of magic users. She shook her head in frustration-her messy black bun flopping back and forth-before she grunted and walked away.

Whereas the Qunari mage, only referred to as Maraas by the slaver that previously held him captive, had just bore witness to no magic he'd ever seen before. The mage never spoke a word, but his caution could be seen clear as day in those perpetually sad violet eyes that peeked out from his white curls.

The only member of the team who seemed unfazed by Cyrian's presence and the magic he had just wielded was the Dalish, half-elf rogue who travelled with the group, named Folina. She walked up to the Keeper fearlessly, daggers still sheathed at her hip, and poked him fondly in the chest a couple of times. "So you can control Sylvan? Fenedhis! And here I was, thinking I've seen everything a Keeper can do! What else are you capable of?"

Cyrian laughed again and shook his head. "I need to keep some secrets you know. Why do you think we're called Keepers? But if you guys agree to help me, I can show you exactly what I'm capable of."

Gryphon locked eyes with the elf, and after an awkward moment of bouncing looks between the two, Folina took a couple of steps back. "Yeah...cool. Um, I'm gonna go tell Emerald and Raas that we're setting up camp here. You guys keep doing....whatever it is that your doing."

Despite the expectation of a fight, Gryphon watched Cyrian slowly smile, break their eye contact, and nod at Folina. "Good call. We'll need our rest for this. Trust me."
