My Light

I think I may have found my light

My light to guide me through the night

I don't care, I will take the risk

To find it even if it doesn't exist

I will search far and wide

Hoping that I will see my light

I will look beyond the stars

All throughout this lonely night

To leave my friends and family

For the sake of finding something shine so brightly

To risk my life and take on the journey

Without knowing what lies in store for me

Is it even worth it?

Should I even try?

To find my light

That will be my guide

To walk along this lonely road

Just to find

A shining light

That might not be mine

The chances of my light not existing

Is much too great

But I will try and find it

No matter what it takes

My light, my light

Oh how you shine so bright

Please, oh please, I beg you
