***A Week Later***

"Louis where are the fruit snacks!?" I screamed from the kitchen, digging through cabinets to try and find them.

"Lux ate the last package, remember?" He yelled back "Or I might of.." He mumbled.

"Louis!" I screamed, sighing afterwards. "I guess i'll just give you another cookie.." I moaned, giving Lux a sugar cookie.

"Okay, I've gotta go, love you." Louis appeared into the kitchen, pecking my lips.

"Okay, good luck!" I called before he swiftly walked out the door. Louis had a meeting with SYCO Records, along with the rest of the boys. This could be the start of something for him, so I hope he gets through. Besides, Louis and I were runing low on money, I couldn't work, and Louis seemed to be getting turned down at all the jobs he's been trying to get. If Louis got this, this would be a good change.

I actually felt like Lux was our baby, I was the mom, and he was the dad. We acted like a family, so I guess its okay to call us that.

"Mu-Mu-m-a." My head snapped in Lux's direction.

"What did you just say?" I asked, a huge grin on my face. I sat down on the kitchen floor with her. "Mom" I knew that Lux's words are meant to be pronounced different than mine so I guess all these months being around Louis paid off, I've developed a fake British accent because of him. I didn't really talk American- word wise. I still had my American accent, but I called an elevator a lift, a sweater a jumper, tennis shoes trainers, and etc.

"Mu.."She tried to say.

"Mum," I repeated.

"Mum."

"GOOD!" I squealed. "Okay, ma."

"Mu."

"Oh my god!" I was smiling uncontrollably. "Mumma."

"Mumma."

"GOOD!" I squealed again, grabbing my phone.

'LUX JUST SAID HER FIRST WORD. SDFSDNFJD'

I wasn't expecting a reply so I put my phone down and walked into the living room, Lux following behind me. I heard a loud thump then crying. I sighed.

"Your mother told me you could walk fluently. Why do you keep falling whenever you do?" I sighed, picking Lux up and watching cartoons with her, tickling her also. Worth a shot. Babies crying is not only annoying to me, it's heartbreaking. I'd do anything to stop it.

"Muma muma muma muma." Lux repeated herself. She's been saying the same thing over and over for an hour now. It's only noon and I just want to go to sleep. I wanted Louis to get home so I could take a shower, anything. I sighed, knowing that this was going to be my life for quite some years, starting in seven months.

"Let's go shopping." I smiled at Lux who was looking at herself in a mirror a picture book provided.

I grabbed a shopping cart- or should I say trolley and placed Lux in the part where your kids can sit and checked my phone.

'That's great! The meeting went well and they're talking about making a single, which means I will be gone even longer. x'

'K. I'm at the grocery store with Lux so don't freak out if I'm not home'

I put my phone away and strolled through the store, looking at all the foods and what they were called. Some of this stuff I wish were sold in America. I threw some yogurts, vegetables, fruit- which means fruit snacks into the cart. Lux grabbed a duster from the other side of the aisle and played with it.
