Ezzi walked through the hallway of her school, head bowed, her blond-white hair cascading down to her hips,  her almost blazing sapphire eyes watching her feet, the battered converses grubby and old, but they were.. special. they were the last thing her mother and father had gotten for her before... before i killed them.

She hadn't meant to do it, in fact, she didn't even know how she did it. but she definitely did do it. Ezzi had been fighting with her parents over the most petty of things - a party. They were going to visit her auntie in Ohio for a weekend, and Ezzi had desperately wanted to throw a party; just a few of the girls, but no, no, her parents didn't trust her-a girl of sixteen was not trusted to have a party. So she got angry, and began thinking about how stupid they were, how pathetic they were, how she would be better off without them.. Just angry thoughts, god- she hadn't wanted it to really happen! an hour after they had left, Ez got a call. Her parent's plane had crashed, just off the coast, due to a freak thunderstorm. No survivors. Her life came to a shuddering halt right then. That storm, somehow, was her fault.. she just knew it. People started avoiding her then.. first it was fer friends.. then, then it was her teachers, and then, finally, her one best friend. She became a.. loner, always on her own, not talking. She became distant.

Her locker, unluckily, was beside Melissa's, the most 'popular' girl in the school, who had a knack for regarding Ezzi with a mixture of both disgust, and pity. Melissa would always try and speak to Ezzi, but her attempts were futile. Today was going to be one of those days. "Hello, Ez!" Melissa called in her usual bright, happy way, "How are you?" no reply. "Have you completed the assignment? for English?" no reply. you'd of thought she would understood that, by now, i really wont answer her. The conversation was one sided, so Ezzi just decided to well, skip school. She lived with her cousin, who would be at work, but even still, she couldn't go home.

Ezzi found it easy to just.. slip out of the school, because she had done it so many times before. She walked to the woods, a usual place for her to visit.. But something was different today. She heard voices. Two men. She frowned, and edged closer, trying to listen to the argument.

"She's my daughter, Loki!"

"i don't care, brother, she will be trouble. Odin shall not be pleased."

"Odin would have to deal with it. My daughter has nobody to rely on, if.. i can bring her to Asgard."

"No!"

"what, why?"

the rest became muffled, so Ezzi pressed right up against the tree, peeking around it, yes, definitely two men, both rather tall, one had long blond hair, and was wearing jeans and a tee, but the other... he was pale and thin, with black, slick hair, and green eyes, wearing some sort of cape.. He's beautiful.. She thought, and lent forward, too far forward, it seemed, as she fell forward, onto the forest floor. in front of the two men.
