(Ivan's POV)
I looked into the traitor's eyes and the black of my heart grew darker. My hand gripped her neck, no mercy, no regret for hurting her. She deserves this. She betrayed me! I crushed her neck harder, enjoying Skylar's face turn a dark red as she struggled to breathe. I continued to press, wanting to smash her dead body through the wall and never cease to bring her harm, and pound her into a pulp. Her body went limp in my hands, her chest no longer rising and falling, no longer struggling against me. A rusted, black chest, hidden in the depths of my soul, started bashing around, its contents wanting to be set free. This made me more angry, but I've never doubted my instincts before, so why start now? I let the barely alive girl go and slumped her into my arms. I made a note not to look at her; if I did, the box concealed within me would surely burst and batter me until I let it go, and that couldn't happen.
