"Hrrr.....its so cold, I am freezing out here..where am I?.....Mom, dad...is anyone there..anyone at all.." she cried bitterly amidst the darkness and frost that grew more profound.
It had been five long years since Bloom had been staying at Miss Sherbey's orphanage. Bloom was merely eleven years old when she had been found lying at the corner of 23rd June's Street, pale and cold, and badly horrified. Bloom had not the slightest of clue how and why she ended up so lost five years ago, however when she tries to recollect all past instances of her life, she ends up with mere darkness scattered in her mind.
Turning sixteen years old was a great joy for all the kids of Bloom's age, however it was only more depressing for bloom, for she feared that the more older she grew the more no one would adopt her.
"Happy Birthday darling, your sixteen my dear, what a joy to behold!" said Miss Sherbey.
"That's what got me worried....I'll rot like this forever! I guess even when I grow old you'd probably have to just move me from an orphanage to an old age home! It had to be me! To...to suffer so much,......"-- long pause----Bloom bursts out into tears.
''Now, now dear, do not upset yourself....at least be thankful to get a chance to celebrate your sixteenth birthday...had not you were found...you would probably die out there!'' said Miss Sherbey and then leaves the room.
Bloom silently gets up, makes her bed and then doses off to sleep.
