I always dreamed of being a princess, Then it came true...

Cherries! Fairies! and detention..... oh my..

It was last period of the day and everyone was confused by our little Black Cherry.  Kadence however was drained.  Her powers could only last so long.   Cherry was confused and hurt by the way she had been treated, she was actually hurt.  Being her sister and all i decided to go talk to her about her day.  I already knew what had happened, but she didn't know that. 

I had been talking to Kadence and she was starting to change, she was going in and out of Cherry and herself.  I couldn't stop her and to our luck the principal had come over to us to see what was wrong.  Going to a High School for mythical creatures had its advantages...then it had the down sides.  The principal could read our minds and could even read our every thought if she wanted to.  Luckily i had read my moms book, rule 20, when in doubt bring the sad out.  So taking into the matters we were "magical" i put all the sad memories to the front of my head.  She would have to use all of her power to swim through my brain now.  Wait...What is happening?  I lost complete control of my thoughts and now the only thing i can focus on is our little prank....  Oh.. No...

"So miss Anastasia.  How was your day?"

I couldn't think straight!  I swear i could not gather any of my thoughts and the truth was already coming out without my knowledge.

"My day was..uh.. fantastic..yeah...ummm."

"Oh, thats wonderful.  Did anything exciting happen?"

"N-n-n-o mam"  M'am?  Ma'am?  Where did that come from?  I had to tell her!  It was already coming out of my mouth.

"Ah, M'am.  So very polite."

"Kadence was Cherry today!  I mean.....NO!...I mean she was with Cherry today.  Yeah, They were together all day."  Pull it together! Pull it together!

"Pull what together?  Is something bothering you princess?"  She said that with complete sarcasm and had a grin on her face.  I could feel her crawling through my memory.  As if i was a book and she was ripping all the pages she didn't like out of me until she found what she wanted.

"Umm....Nothing.  I meant pull my thoughts together...Its as if i lost control of my mind.  I am so sorry M'am."  M'am?  Again i had just called our principal M'am. 

"You have detention on Tuesday.  Along with Kadence and Jake.  Your mother has been contacted and now has a copy of your slip.  Don't be late, and you are free to go."

Great.  Detention.  I'm starting to think that maybe i shouldn't have asked them to help me.

It was now 12:00 PM.  And their was a cat on my porch.  I was sitting on the couch and it kept meowing and meowing!  I couldn't take it anymore!  So i took a glass of water and poured it over the cat. 

"Hey!!!  Watch it!!!" I recognized that voice.  Jake!  What was he doing at the castle?

"Oh my gosh!  Jake!  I'm so sorry.  Here let me get you a towel."  I ran to the bathroom and got him a towel.

"Thanks."

"No problem.  Why are you here?  I mean, i thought you and Kay would be mad at me."  He stared at then sat on the couch.

"I'm here to talk."  This was strange.  I didn't understand it.

"About..? "

"About...today."  Oh no, i was in for a BAD lecture.

"Sure.  What did you want to talk about?"

"How awesome it was!"  He started laughing. "And how good Kadence was at being Cherry."

I looked at him strangly and then spoke.  "I think it was a great idea at the moment, then i realized that...IT WAS COMPLETELY STUPID!"

"Wow.  Someone has a bad case of the grumpies."

"Look, we have detention, My mom had a fit and then now you snuck into my house!"

"Ah, i didnt sneak in.  You let me in after you satturated me in liquid."

I laughed a little then got serious again.

"My mom isn't going to be happy.  So i think you should be on your way."  I pointed to the door then showed him the way out.

"Okay, i will go.  If you answer me one question."

"And that is?..."

"What was the 'Cute Winkey Thing' in your head about?"

"Well that is uh.. none of your business and for me only to know."

"Fine then.  I will just camp out here.  In your living room.  Eating your ice cream."  He said it in a dramatic lonely voice.

"Oh really?"

"Or, You could just tell me what it was about."

I sighed and and then got ready to tell him.

"It was about you.. You looked cute when you winked before we released Black Cherry.. Happy?"

"Well i didnt see that coming."

"There.  Now you know... So would you leave?"

"Not completely."

"What do you mean not completely?"

"I mean I'm staying for the next 4 hours.  In your living room."

"Okay.  So i told you something kind of embarrassing and now you wanna stay?  And then to make it more awkward you say your staying the next 4 hours!"

"And that's bad why?"  he laughed and looked at me.  I told him goodnight and went up to my room.  I locked my door and my window and fell asleep.  Hopefully he will be gone in the morning.
