Broken By A Secret

Chapter 5- Blue-green!

"What. Do you two. Think. Are you. Doing?" I asked them, and they look like the boy from earlier but this time, they look like kids who got caught for stealing a candy.

"Rae! What on earth happened to you?" Nathan asked approaching me and Melody lookes worried.

"Thanks for asking but you two will NOT get away from what you did with my chocolates."

They soon apologized for eating my chocolates.

After taking a bath, they helped me patch my bruises then sat on my bed and told them the whole story. And I can't help but notice when I told them about the cute but annoying boy, Nathan's eyes darken, but I know that's just because he's overprotective of me than my family. Probably because he doesn't want his 'little sister' to be hurt.

Oh well...

"Do you want me to beat him up?"

"Did you catch his name?"

They said in unison...

Nate and I stared at Melody,

"What? He sounds interesting, and hot."

"No thanks, Nate. And no, Mel, I don't even want to." I replied to both of them. Melody just sighed in disappointment.

Silence came and it's very uncomfortable...

"So what are we panning on doing today?" I broke the silence.

We're at the carnival right now and we're currently drinking frappe from Starbucks. Mine's flavor is Caramel Cream, Melody's Strawberry and Cream, and Nathan has Coffee Jelly.

We decided to rest first after riding 2 roller coasters, then rode about 4 more extreme rides, played in 5 booths and Nathan won a medium sized brown Teddy Bear and gave it to a little girl who can't play. He's so kind.

It's about 7pm already so we decided to ride at the ferris wheel before we go home.

We waited in line until we're the next one to ride. The three went together and we talked, joked, laughed, until we decided to call it a night.

It's Monday today.

And monday means school.

And my alarm clock won't shut up.

And I'm tired from yesterday.

And I still want to sleep.

Because sleeping is my favorite hobby.

And I --- *knock, knock, knock*

"Rae, get up or you're gonna be late! And I'll be going now, bye!" I heard Tiffany's voice outside my door. She always leave early because she's already in college and the univerity she's in is about an hour away. She doesn't want to live in a dorm so she chose to go home everyday and leave in the morning. The university she's enrolled in is both our dream university and I'd follow her there next year, and I'm so happy she got accepted.

I got up and did my daily morning routine and ate breakfast. I said glodbye and kissed their cheek and start driving to hell-- err, I mean school.

I parked at my usual parking spot and walked towards Melody and Nathan. I noticed everyone is talking about something, a new student to be precise, a new... boy? Who would enroll their child at October? I mean, come on! He would miss so much! But I'm not sure if the rumors is true anyway, so let's go find out.

They spotted me walking towards them and waved at me.

"Hey Rae." Nathan greeted.

"Hey Nate." I gave him a small smile. I turned to look at Melody and she looks excited.

"Is there something going on?" I asked slowly.

"Yes! There's a new boy in our school and he's like, so cool and looks hot. If you know what I mean!" She said fast. Well I think the rumors are true...

Oh wait a minute, I have a bad feeling about this...

"Really? What does he look like?" I tried to look normal.

"He has light brown hair that looks really soft, and I saw his eyes! And oh my, the color of his eyes is the best!" She exclaimed, sighing dreamly.

"What color exactly?"

"Blue-green!"

Oh no.....
