Prologue
The year is 3014. One thousand years ago humans thought there where no such thing as supernatural creatures. It was all fantasy - scary bed time stories - WRONG. Unfortunately for us, Smokes - or by a human understanding "witches" are still a very much concealed race; we've been burned, drowned and hung over the years, and 1000 years ago we were even worshiped. Since then, the uspurting of god creative role became a not so positive phenomenon. In return, human's are leading specialist operations using nuclear war equipment - the only thing supernatural creatures' power submit to - To find, test and exterminate us - all of us. You see - among supernatural beings there are more than just Smokes; there are Demons, Angels, Werewolves and Vamps. The people around you could be Demons and you would never know...
I'm Violet a halfie [what they call smokes who haven't received their full power - down side until you turn eighteen you'll never know]. Living a double life is hard... especially considering if anyone knew of my true identity i would be dead - or being tested on in some lab. For right now - every thing was running smoothly as planned; no one had suspected me, i was your average teen of 3014 turning eighteen in a few months and graduating this hell hole - but everything changed the moment i met him.
