Chapter 27

Harlan's POV
When I woke up the next morning, it was to kisses being peppered all over my face. My nose scrunched up and my eyes remained closed.

"Come on, I know you're awake. You have to kiss me before I leave to go spend an hour or two with my mom before we come see you again." He kisses my face a couple more times before I finally pry my eyes open. I quickly shut them again as it's incredibly bright. I hear Remington chuckle beside me and open my eyes once again. "What are you laughing at, mr man?" I questioned, my voice still laced with sleepiness "Nothing you're just really cute in the mornings." He replied. We sat there in silence for a couple minutes cuddling and enjoying the warmth. "Okay, I'm serious. I want to spend some time with my mom, now kiss me so I can go!" He said. I sat up and kissed him. It was short and sweet and made us both smile. He got out of the bed and then pulled me up. I kissed him once more and we made our way down stairs. I kissed his cheek and he kissed my forehead before telling me he would see me later and walking out to his car. I smiled and waved as he pulled out of the drive way and then walked back inside to make myself some coffee.

An hour later I was dressed, caffeinated and on my way to work. As I was driving my phone started ringing. I answered the call through my steering wheel because...... Bluetooth!
"Hello little miss wine bottle! You coming in today?" I asked with amusement in my voice. I heard her grumble a hello and then, "yeah I'm about to get in the shower. Remind me to never drink again." She said in a low grumbling tone. I heard her wince and hiss. "Water too hot?" I giggled again. She mumbled out a yeah. "Okay, well I'll see you when you get here. Shower. Try not to burn yourself. Bye!"

I pulled into the parking space closest to the door of the studio, noticing tiana was inside sweeping. This was the first time I'd seen her since the day I'd found out my mom passed. Walking into the studio I set my keys on the counter and walked over to the speaker and turned the music down some. "Uhm excus- oh! HARLAN! HI! I missed you so much. How are you doing?" She asked and ran over to give me a hug. I wrapped my arms around her and said "Hey tiana. I'm doing okay. As well as can be expected." I have her a big smile and turned to get some stuff ready to open the studio. 45 minutes later Jules came strolling through the door with a tray of coffees. "I have arrived and I come bearing delicious brewed awake-ness!" She called as she walked towards tiana, Darren, who had shown up a few minutes before her, and I. We all laughed at her and accepted the coffees.

Soon enough the doors were opened and the work day started and we each had a customer. I had just finished with mine and was taking the payment. "So Harlan, how was your night with-" She was cut off by me screaming at her to shut up. I hadn't talked to rem about telling everyone yet and didn't want her to shout it to the world that he spent the night in my bed last night. She just laughed at me but shut up and finished the piece she was doing on this 19 year old dude. I sat at the front desk and checked my phone.

I had a text from Emerson telling me that they were on the way to the studio to steal me for an hour to go to lunch. I helped tianas customer pay and then went to the back do get more supplies. When I came back out the three of them were all standing there whispering not noticing that I had come back yet. "Okay, instead of standing there gossiping like high schoolers can we please do something productive?" I said slightly annoyed.

I stood at the front desk looking through the schedule book trying to figure out if I could give people more hours or not, when the bell above the door rang. I looked up to see my boys walking in. Without a word Remington walked right up to me and kissed me, hard. I smiled and kissed him back.

When we pulled away I looked around to see shock on everyone's faces, well except Jules.

"When did this happen?" Sebastian spoke up with a smirk on his face. He raised his eyebrow as Remington wrapped his tattooed arms around my waist and placed his head on my shoulder. "Well technically it happened when she was in the hospital, but I officially asked her to be my girlfriend last night." Remington spoke and I could feel the huge smile resting on his face.

I pulled Remington's arms off of me and ran to wrap Emerson in a hug. He wrapped his arms around me and I whispered into his ear so that he was the only one to hear "please don't be mad" I gripped him tighter. "I'm not mad, I'm actually really happy you guys are back together, he was so sad without you." He said back without anyone hearing. I let go of him and moved on to Sebastian. The boys greeted the others even though they were still in shock.

We left the studio and found a small pizza place to eat at. We used the hour we had together to talk about how your had been so far and how your was gonna go for the next week. We ate and we laughed. I would miss them, even though I'll see
them in a week.
