Secrets *ON HOLD*

CH. 2 In!

  "Hey mom I'm home." 

I throw my keys on the kitchen counter and walk to the refrigerator. I grab out stuff to make a sandwich. When I'm done I go and start to do my chores I hate doing my chores I really do. My mom comes down from her office and starts to get pots and pans out. 

" Hey mom. How was your day?"

"It was good, how about your day sweet heart?"

"Good except for Stupid math."

"Oh well... Oh I almost forgot you got mail today I left it up on your dresser."

"Okay thanks." I yell before heading up to my room.

I run into my room and run over to my dresser and pick up the envelope it say to Rebecca Michels  From Silverday Prep. My hands were shaking so bad I couldn't open it .So I decided that I had to call my brother his name is Mason and he lives in Phoenix,Arizona I always call him or write letters to him. I press his contact and then the phone starts to dial. I wait silently my hands still shaking with my eyes glued to my letter as if it where to grow legs and run away.

"Hello." My brother said it sounded as if he where asleep.

"Hey Mason, so are you busy right now or no?"

" No whats up?"

"Okay so I have a little problem."

"Oh god do I have to fly down?"

"No, no, no everything is fine its just that ... I got a letter from Silverday Prep."

"Wait what! Did you get in ?"

"I haven't opened the letter yet that's why I was calling you."

"Oh god sis, why haven't you opened it yet?" 

"I was to nervous to open it my hand are still shaking." 

"Um...Okay I'll facetime you." Just like that the phone call was over, I wait for him to facetime me, I let out a sigh a million things where going threw my head what if I didn't get accepted, but what if I did get in. I just could't think the sound of my phone ringing snapped me out of it. My brother was facetiming me. 

"Okay what are you waiting for open it." My brother said as soon as I answered him.

I let out a sigh here goes nothing I say to my self. My shaky hands rip open envelope I take out  the letter and I begin to read it .

Dear Rebecca Michles,

We are Happy to say that you have been accepted on a full scholarship to Silverday Prep.

My mind went blank I didn't even finish the letter. "I got in." I whisper to my self.

"What?" I jump startled I had forgotten that I was still facetiming my brother.

"I got in." I say a little louder.

"Okay you have to speak up sis." My brother said in a agitated voice.

"I got in!" I yelled and start jumping on my bed with joy.

"Oh God sis I'm so proud of you!" Mason says 

"I can't believe it I actually got in." I didn't even realize I had tears running down my face.They where tears of joy.

"So when do you start sis." mason say. Once again I totally forgot we where facetiming. 

I look down at the letter MONDAY I start Monday. Oh god.

"I start Monday That's only what 3 days away that's not enough time."

"Well sis you better stat making phone calls. I got to go but I'm so proud of you."

"Okay thanks. Yeah I guess I should start making calls bye."

I  start to smile from ear to ear "MOM!!!" I yell. I hear her running up the stairs she opens my door and looks around worried.

"Whats the matter are you hurt?" She asks worriedly.

"What no guess what. I got in to Silverday Prep and with a full scholarship." I smile again

"Oh honey that's amazing I'm so proud of you." My mom says happily.

"But I start on Monday that's only three days."

"Well I guess we better get on it then." 

"We should I'll tell my Principle tomorrow."

"Okay then get ready I'm taking you out to eat to celebrate."
