Alana P.O.V.
Toni: That dress is a perfect fit Alana.
Me: You sure?
Toni: No.....
I frowned as she laughed.
Me: You're a piece of shit.
Toni: Eh, I've been told.
I shook my head going back inside the fitting room trying on the next dress.
Me: How's this one?
Toni: Beautiful. But we don't need you to be noticeable.
I groaned seeing AJ typing on his iPad, which he's been doing the entire time I've been trying to find an outfit.
Me: So what's the gist of the party AJ?
AJ: It's a masquerade ball. An exclusive one at that.
Toni: Meaning, we need to come up with new attire and a way to get in.
Me: Well it's a masquerade so we wear masks.
AJ: No offense to Jass, but sis you got some fine ass eyes. They'd spot you in a second.
Me: They?
AJ: This is Jamal's party. It's a normal party including some unwanted guests. Mafia, Cartel, who knows.
Me: So what's it for?
AJ: Arms dealing? Money laundering? Who knows.
Toni: It's a drug deal.
Me: Drug deal?
Toni: Jamal's a drug dealer on the side. There's a big shipment coming in for his last drop.
Me: So we go to the party and stop him.
AJ: Not happening. Jamal's got his guys guarding the party and most definitely has his men on the lookout for a crew of gay people.
Toni: We're not all gay here.
I rolled my eyes.
Me: Toni, we're gay. Let it go.
She laid back on the seat as I saw Camile entering the store with a slushie.
Me: So how'd it go?
Camile: Everything's in the storage. Houses are sold and I'm ready to go.
Me: Great. We've got a new lead on the party.
Camile: Which is?
AJ: Masquerade.
Camile: Great easy access.
AJ: Tough security. Security that will be on the lookout for me and Alana.
Me: So that means that you two have to go to the party.
Camile: What? Why me?
Me: Because he's never seen you guys before.
AJ: As crazy as it sounds, Alana's right. He knows my face.
Me: You two are our only hope.
Camile: So wait, what's the objective?
AJ: Get some intel on Jamal. See if he'll hint you to where Melvin is.
Me: He'd want to keep him close so there's a more or less likely chance that he's going to be somewhere at the party.
AJ: Locked up somewhere.
I went and got changed into my regular clothes as I pushed Toni and Camile into dressing rooms.
