Tuck You In (Violetine)

Okay...I admit this is not soon. In fact very late and I am very sorry for that. I have not been having that much inspiration lately, so to make up for the Clouis Chapter which I am still writing, I wrote a short story of Violetine after getting the INSPIRATION. I'm sorry for going off schedule again and I will try to get back on it after this as soon as I can. Anyways Happy Holidays and I hope you enjoy this short chapter :)

Clem P.O.V.

"Vi? I'm back! Sorry, Boss was an ass— Violet?"

I walked into the apartment, scanning the place for the blonde. Strange, she usually waits for me even if I come back late. Where could she be?

Sofa? No. Kitchen? No. TV? Nah. Toilet? Nope.

Just as I was going to check the storeroom, I mean we just moved in, I heard a snore come from the the room opposite mine. Of course, why didn't I check if she was sleeping in the first place.

As I walked into the purple-coloured room, I saw my Girlfriend leaning on her desk, head resting on her arms. Blonde strands of hair were strayed over her soft face. She looked always looked so soft and gentle whenever she sleeps. I sat down on the swivel chair beside her, taking off my jacket and placed it on her.

Thud—

I knocked into a box beside on Violet's desk. Moving the wrapped present towards me, I read the cream-coloured note's words...

Merry Christmas Clementine
- Violet

I smiled, touched by her getting something for me this year. And wrapping it up! You never get to see her do this often. She's so sweet when it comes to giving, even if it's just returning back a favour.

I turned back to her, brushing off strands of hair from her face. I couldn't lie about not blushing slightly when I saw her in this state. She looked so precious.

I don't know why but, I felt a sensation come over me. A feeling I only felt once or twice, okay maybe too many times to count. But I was always scared to give in to my temptations, even if it was a little peck before tucking her in to sleep.

Still, I leaned in. Palms started to feel sweaty as my vision limited to only seeing her face, to those green eyes and nose up so close. I closed my golden orbs, trying to navigate those soft lips that were the source of the snores earlier. I could feel her warm breath against my face, before I felt lips lunge forward, touching mine...

I opened my eyes to see Violet staring right back at me after the kiss, smirking and eyeing me suspiciously, like she always does when she catches me doing things I would never. She always found it cute that I did.

With that I turned into blushing mess, covering my face with both hands, glancing up and down but never trying to meet her eyes.

"Hey Clem, what are you doing staying up late today?" She asked teasingly as she stretched, not to mention yawning as she did.

"I was late from w-work today," I stumbled on my words, still recovering from the incident. I always get so flustered when it comes to romance. Though I enjoy it, Violet usually takes the lead.

"Well then, as your punishment for making your girlfriend wait for you til—12.04 a.m. I suppose, I shall take the honours of teasing you in every way possible with your goodnight kiss." She stood up and bowed dramatically, letting out a yawn again. She really was tired.

I sighed, standing up as well and following her to her bed where she already was snuggled in. "Goodnight Vi, see ya tomorrow," I said, turning off the lamp on her desk which was the only thing keeping the room from being filled with darkness.

"Hey! What are yo—" I felt a hand pull me back, turning me around to meet my half-asleep Girlfriend.

"Stay with me? Please..." She asked, not letting go of my hand.

"Fine," I placed myself on the right side of Violet's bed, wrapping my arms around her as I snuggled into the crook of her neck.

"Goodnight, for real this time." I said closing my eyes until—

"You smell, Clem."

"Well you asked me to stay with you tonight so this is what you get..."

Sorry about this story being bad and maybe rushed. You know when you write till a certain point until you think what's gonna happen next. Yeah that happened to me. Hope you enjoy this and Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎄
