One day she came to me in pain,
The hurt was too immense to hide.
Her heart shattered, just one strand keeping her sane.
I felt as though it was the end for her, and in me she chose to confide.Her story went on for some time.
The end was pretty clear as she began.
Listening with intentions to judge and condem
This was my first mistakeFor as soon as she had finished.
Instead of crying and consoling her.
My hit list grew by one name.
This name will now be stained with the dark of the story just told to me.Taking her from that low point was a must.
Once the story began that outcome seemed very clear.
To make her become more like what she was before
Bright smiles, laughter and the slightly shielded heart.Her story will now have a happy ending because of me.
Although I added to some slow recovery.
By being there as a avenger and not a lover.
She now smiles brightly at my sight or my deep voice in her ears.But there's more
