"Okay everyone!!! Feel free to look around!!!" It was new years eve, the time where everybody celebrates what a wonderful year it's been, even if it has been one of the worst years of your entire life. Celebrities dying, terrible tv shows, horrible trends, and having to go through the horrors of Baldis school. Not everything was all that bad though, you made a couple of friends, got new clothes, even get into new video games and their fandoms, but there was also Player. Nobody really knew whether or not he had a real name but that dosen't really matter. You met the player when you first arrived at Here school and you felt sorry for the poor boy who was running away from his abusive math teacher. You helped him gather all his friends notebooks and made distractions so Baldi would be less likely to catch him. The plan worked out well, sure you got beaten up in the end but it was wroth seeing how happy the player was to see you the next day. How could anyone treat this innocent boy so harshly??? He was just too sweet and pure to be in this hellhole of a school. Baldi can go suck a dick and shove his ruler up his ass. The player really looked up to you and always came when he needed you the most, whether it was help with homework or another escape plan to get away from Baldi again, you name it, you would always do whatever it takes to protect Player.
Speaking of Player you haven't seen him since winter break started and wondered if he was gonna turn up. Let's just say Baldi invited the school staff out to the see the fireworks. This included Gotta Sweep,the Principal with his daughter Playtime, and the bully because Playtime wanted him to come and his parents insisted he should. You just so happened to ve at the same area because your parents also wanted to come out to watch the fireworks in the same area. Also the school members said hi to you the principal mentioned something,"You know Player has been planning on coming here as well" he said with a smile."He's been really wanting to talk to you about something."
"Player really likes you Y/N!!!" Playtime cheered causing a small blush to appear on your cheeks.
"W-what??"
The Principal covered Playtimes mouth "Playtime, how about you go buy some candy??" He said with a nervous smile as he give her a small amount of money from his coat pocket.
"Ok daddy!!!" She yelled as she ran into a nearby store after dragging bully along with her. Poor kid did not want to have to babysit her.
"Don't mind her, you know how children get" He said to you with a chuckle.
You then walked over to the candy store yourself and looked through the glass window. There was so much of all the candy you could think of, candy canes , chocolate reindeers ,cookies ,caramel bites, you immediately drool over the idea of eating some delicous caramel. You then spotted pocky on a shelf, your mind then trailled back to what Playtime said. "Could Player really like me 'that' much???" You thought to yourself. You never really thought you were that great of person. Just a lazy fatass who plays games all day and ships random characters from tv shows together. Then you thought about the player. He was definetly one of the adorablest things you have ever in your entire life. I mean he really was just so fucking adorable. He always tried to be polite, he is brave and willing to give things a try,(Even if it does end up in being beaten with a ruler)And he was really good at playing Smash, like seriously he beat you 10 times while you were fighting agansit him. Although he was very honest and open with most other students, he always seemed a little more shy around you. Now that you think about it he 'has' blushing around you a lot lately and has also been stuttering while speaking. Has he gotten shy around you??? Oh my god maybe he does have a crush on you???. But why though??? There's probably much better girl's in the school for him fall heads over heals for. You've been told by bullies that you were ugly and no boy would ever like you. But did you care??? No. Cause you had more important things to worry about in life than some silly appearence problems. You were part of a school with a strict teacher after all. While you were in your trance someone has slowly walked behind you and tapped your shoulder.
"Umm Y/N???"
"AAH!!!" You yelped as you turned around only to see Player standing before you.
"O-Oh i'm so sorry!!! I didn't mean to scare you!!!" The boy stuttered in worry.
"No no it's ok!!! I just thought you were some creeper or something heheh" You replied in embarrassment.
"O-oh well as long as your ok then....thats fine." The boy looked away from you blushing shyly.
"Hey it's no big deal Player. It's...really nice to see you here"
"R-really!??"
"Of course it is!!! Cause i get to see your cute wittle face!!!"
You giffled as you grabbed the Players cheeks and squeezed them.
"Ah!!! Heyyyy"
"Your cheeks are so chubby!!!"
"Y/N!! S-stop your embarrassing me!!"
You giggled again and let go. "Fineeeee"
What you didn't realize was that the principal and the other school staff were watching you while chuckling.
"Um anyway Y/N???"
"Yes Player?"
"I'm really sorry i haven't managed to get a christmas present for you this year."
"Well,you were broke after all."
"T-thats why i got you this"
He held out a small box in front of you.
"M-merry christmas Y/N. Even though it isn't christmas anymore. So i guess this could be a new years eve gift?"
"Heh that sounds lovely"
You took the box from his fragile grey hands and opened it.
You gasped at the sight.
Inside a golden necklace with a ruby heart gem on it. The light from the shop window really made it shine.
"Player this is beautiful!!!"
"You really like it???"
"Of course i do!!" After that you hugged him, causing him to blush even more and make a flustered noise.
"I-i'm g-glad you like it Y/N"
"Thank you...."
"Your welcome..."
He hugged back and the two of you stayed that way, enjoying each others warmth and not wanting to let go.
"Y/N i gotta tell you something." He pulled away and gave a serious look despite not having any eyes.
You knew what was coming but decided not to say anything about it.
"I really like you Y/N!!!!" He burst out, sweat going down his forehead and his cheeks were completely pink.
"I...love you too Player..." You responded softly and took his hand.
The player then smiled the most biggest smile you have ever seen on him. It was so cute you felt like you could die from a heart attack any moment.
BOOM!!!
The two of you looked up at the sky to see the fireworks have started. The two of you watched the sky while holding each others hands.
"Happy new year Y/N...."
