Part 21

Jada's POV

I think now was the time that I should tell Drake that I'm pregnant.

I have to wait till he's back from the studio though.

I decided to call my old friend Daphne. She picked up on the first ring.

(Phone convo)

"Hello." She spoke into the phone.

"Hey daphne." I said.

I heard her gasp into the phone.

"You bitch! I thought you was dead.. I haven't heard from you in months!" She shouted into the phone.

"Oh god. I'm sorry daph I was just busy with Drake." I said.

"Drake the rapper? The one that came to our dressing room the day of his photoshoot?" She asked.

"Yes him." I said chuckling.

"I'm guessing that date y'all went on went well." She said laughing.

"Yeah it did." I said smiling.

"What's going on with y'all?" She asked.

"Well we are together and I'm pregnant." I said.

"Wait what?!" I heard a familiar voice from behind me.

Shit.

I turned around to see Drake staring at me.

I must have been to busy on the phone with daph that I didn't notice Drake come through the front door.

"Who is that?" Daphne said.

"I uh have to go." I said still staring at Drake.

"Bye girl." She said.

"Bye." I said hanging up.

I sat the phone down on the table.

"Why am I just now finding out about this?" He asked.

"I was waiting on telling you because I wasn't sure whether I w-wanted to k-keep the b-baby." I said stuttering the last parts.

"What do you mean?" He asked coming over to me and grabbing my hands.

"I didn't know if I was ready to have a baby." I said looking down.

He put his hand on my chin and brought my head up. "Baby you are ready and so am I." He said kissing me passionately.

I nodded my head.

"I guess we're ready." I said holding his hand in mines.
