The next few weeks went by quicker than normal. Between catching up on all the schoolwork I had missed out on and working, I didn't have a lot of time to myself.

So me, Claire and Maddie decided to go for a pamper day.

"We're getting our break in tomorrow thank god" Maddie grins while waiting for her nails to be finished

We were currently sitting side by side while getting our nails done. Clare had gone for a deep red because she was going back home for a wedding she was a bridesmaid at, while Maddie went for a yellow because she was going on vacation with Wes and Ross and Jordan, while I went for my usual nude colour because I was stuck here for the break

"Wait so since when did you and the boys get so close Mads?" I ask being the first to have my nails finished "I feel like we haven't had a proper girl talk in ages"

"After I became single, I just felt like I was able to be more open with them so we've actually become really close friends" she smiles

"Ive missed this" Clare smiles "I feel like we've all got caught up in our own lives and drama that we forgot we were actually friends"

"Well once all you guys get back from having the best break ever we're not letting that happen again"

"So why aren't you going home for the three weeks?" Clare raises a eyebrow

"No ones there" I respond honestly "Dad, Tom and Reece went on a boys trip backpacking, Marks never home and I don't exactly feel like running into my mom and my stunt double"

"We really need to meet these brothers of yours" Clare winks

"Maybe someday" I laugh

We spent the rest of the day getting our eyebrows done and tinted and getting eyelash extensions. Why I was doing it to be staying in my dorm and at the gym I have no idea

"So what's Grayson doing for the holidays?" Maddie asks me after we sit down in McDonald's

I shrug "I've no idea I'm pretty sure he's going home"

My last day of classes went pretty well. Apart from being handed a shit load of extra assignments the teachers let us talk in most of them

I went to get some food straight afterwards so by the time I got back the campus was as good as empty with all teachers and most students leaving as quick as possible

I unlocked the door to the dorm which was empty. I decided to have a shower and change into some gym clothes after spending a few hours studying to do a late night gym session

I decided to jog there because of the weather improving and the fact that it's something I haven't done in awhile

"Hey Emma" my boss walked over to me when I was almost finished my workout

"Hey" I smile turning around to her

"I know your down for working for the next three weeks but we're actually going to be closed for that time so you're free to do whatever you like"

I give her a smile to match her one "Thanks, that's great"

But unfortunately my response didn't reflect my actual feelings because now I'm stuck in LA by myself with nothing to occupy me

It was almost twelve am when I left the gym. I ended up having coffee with some of the staff as a little goodbye for the break

"You sure you don't want a ride home?" Stella, my co worker asks

I shake my head "nah I'm fine it'll make up for the muffins I just ate" I joke and she laughs

"Tell me about it" she grins "I'll see you at some stage"

"Have a good break" I smile before taking off in the opposite direction

The warm night air was nice against my skin as I jogged down the empty streets

I felt at peace with my headphones on and phone in my hand when suddenly a black van started to drive close by me

A black haired Middle aged man jogged up beside me when suddenly the van came to a halt and his hands roughly grabbed onto my arms and pushed me into the now opened trunk doors

I heard the sound of my phone hit the ground along with headphones before a sharp pain shot through me when my head hit the side of the wall

And then everything went black
