BACK IN HER ARM'S

chapter 1

It was the big game of the season of the NBA the las angles Lakers were going up against the new York city nights and Alexander Brodrick was in for a treat, since he can remember he's been a big fan of the Lakers team with Shaquiel O'Neil and Kobe Bryant he gave his heart to the Lakers, though all his life he's been living in new York and his friends find it hard to believe him that he was going over the nights for the Lakers,
But his mind was set  apart from him all his other buddies were  hitting big bets on the nights
"I'm telling you man the Lakers going to win this big time"Alexander said,
"What make you so sure?" His best friend David cartel ask
"I'm sure the nights have nothing on the Lakers for tonight game" Alexander said
"Do what please you man" Wayne said throwing his money down, ash Graham, Jim Morgan, Denny Orr and David did the same, Alexander reach in his pocket for his wallet
"Hold up man! Put your wallet away" Wayne said "we don't need your money"
"What and miss the chance to see him Scrabble after loosing" ash said
"No" Wayne shook his head "he get to screw a hooker when he looses" Ash, David, Denny and Jim look at Alexander,
He shook his head, "no man I can't do that I'm married how many times do I have to say this"
"Some one is backing down" David said
"Not you too you are suppose to be my best bud you are to tell them it's wrong"
"Come on man it is a one time thing and your wife don't have to know, and if you have so much confidence that your Lakers will win the game shouldn't you be jumping on the bet" Wayne said,
Alexander nod "I'm thinking you are right"
It was a long game as the Lakers keep trailing by two points taking a one point lead but was back down this time by three Alexander held his head when the time ran out in the last second the nights score and won by five points Alexander make his way out the arena hoping to escape the boys,
"Where you going so fast?" Wayne ask catching up with him hugging him at the shoulder,
"Come on man, you not going to let me do this for real?" Alexander question
"Of course man a bet is a bet you lost right" Wayne said with a grin
Alexander nod Wayne place his apartment keys and a box of condom in his hand ushering him inside the car
"We are right be hind you" he said closing the car door for him,
Alexander want to back out but with his friends it was hard he start his car as he saw them climb in to David car together, he kill the engine and got out,
"Did something went wrong with your car?" David ask
"Shouldn't you all stay back for the celebration?" Alexander ask "I can do this on my own"
Wayne grin "smart boy I like that, you hear that guys he's saying that we should stay back for the  celebration, what you guys think?"
"Jim shook his head "it's just a way for him to head home"
"That I know" Wayne said  "go on man it's already late"
"You guys are no good man" Alexander said as he walk to his car and got in he drove off and noticed that David car was driving slowly behind him as he speed up he saw the car coming at a higher speed, he was thinking on how long since he got married the guys has been trying to get him to sleep with  another woman and they finally caught him right where they want him there was no way they were going to let him go free, as he got on back road they travel close behind him giving him no chance to escape, he never knew anything about back road he didn't know how to go about this, he look from side to side on the half naked women some standing in fours and threes but he pull to the two standing a little distance from each other and open his door, and wait for one of them to get in he didn't miss the boys behind him as some of the ladies try to talk them in to picking one of them,
Katey Moore was a first timer from Las angles she was brought to new York by her only and best friend her boy friend had left her a few months back left her with out a place to stay and her friend had guaranteed that she'll get her a place to stay selling her body wasn't half the job she wanted and staying in the back of a street ally wasn't likely a home but she didn't know any other way, Katey had no idea how she was going to tolerate a man she knew nothing about and apart from her ex boyfriend Chris Berk there's been no other man in her life the thought of it make her sick to her stomach,
"You won't get pay standing there" Ann Riley whispered giving her a slight bush to ward the car this was her third week and this was her first client, it was Friday night and back street was crawling with prostitutes and big men pulling up in their big and expensive vehicles looking their chances with some one sweet and sexy with experience she was none of those she became so nervous when Ann push her to the open car door she got in on trembling feet closing the door behind her wondering what the next move will be shaking as he start the car and was about to  drove her to a destination she has no idea of,
As Alexander drove towards Wayne's apartment Katey watch him from the corner of her eyes he kept his eyes focused on the road with not even a glance side ways his cel phone rang and he answered to hear Ash on the line
"Don't think on turning around now we're still watching you" he said
The car was no longer behind him but knowing them they could be as he turn in the drive way he saw a car brake and the park lights were left on and could tell it was them he ignored it taking the key from his pocket to open the door and allow the girl to go in a head of him closing the door behind him he look out the window and saw the car still waiting,
Ann had told Katey what her price should be but Katey wish Ann had told her what exact moves to make for the door close behind her and she was more nervous now than ever before she has no clue what he wanted her to do for she wasn't really experience,
Katey remember Ann also said that she should ask for a drink Incase they were in the reach of it they were but Katey didn't drink and even before she ask if she was going to he walk to the table and pour some dry martini in a glass then hand it to her, "thank you" she mumbled taking a sip swallowing too much at once and choke, coughing for a while before able to stop.
"Is it too strong?" Alexander ask "can I get you anything else?" He offered quickly, Katey refused just as quickly her throat still burns as she tries to clear it up,
"Shall we get started?" Katey ask
"Oh yeah" Alexander answered nodding "we should" he finished his own drink put the glass on the table looking out the window his friends car was no longer park where it was he couldn't tell if they had left or just move, he wonder if he should take this girl back drop her off and head home, but she close the gap between them and began removing his shirt, he wore only a T-shirt that came over his head  quite easy but she had to pulled it over his strong arm that extends with hard muscles his skin clean and smooth as she rub her palm over him, feeling through  his chest hair as she trail her fingers down the line they went to his pubic area as she shove her hand down his pants to stroke him to hardness, Alexander let out a soft  moan when her soft lips touch his shoulders,

"come on in man and tell up what had happened" David said
"The condom broke" Alexander complain
"Say what!?" Wayne ask shouting,

"What causes your condom to broke?" Wayne ask in a rather low tone
"For it happened Alexander told him as he sank next to him on the sofa "a god darn prostitute I'm sure I'm with something,
""You were with her skin to skin?" David ask "man!" He express holding his head
"I had no idea it happened until it was over and she found the batted condom what was left of it inside of her what will I tell my wife now?" Alexander said
David and Wayne look at each other then back to Alexander
"You don't need to tell her" Wayne said
"But what if she want sex when I got home?"
"Tell her you're tired" David told him making Alexander and Wayne look at him.
"Man!" He sighed deeply it's all our fault all because of one stupid bet"
"What the bet was good blame it on the no good condom" Wayne said "probably was damn cheap"
"You gave them to me" Alexander said
"I, I gave you" he said  stuttering making them all smile,
"Let's all just call it a night" David said "we'll go see a doctor tomorrow"
"And tell my wife what when she learns i visit the doctor?" Alexander ask
"You worry too much just tell her you felt ill and went to check it out" Wayne said
"I'm to lie to her"
"OK so we'll go to my doctor then so she won't come to know"David said
"Alright" Alexander agree so did Wayne as they both stretch out on David couch when David said goodnight and began to take the stairs,
Saturday morning both Wayne and Alexander were at the table having breakfast with David kids and making conversation with his wife,
"Move over man that's my seat" he said tapping Alexander on the shoulder Alexander move and he sat down "you both need your own family and stop eating up my food"
"That's no way  to talk to your guess" Antoinette games said to her husband as she came to the table with his breakfast kissing his cheek
"My guess?" David ask looking at the two
"Good morning daddy" Polly said
"Sugar" David Said leaving over to kiss her cheek
"Tom" he said rubbing his son head he smile at his father,
Tom was only three with Polly five years older they both call Alexander uncle for he's been around since they both were babies and has always gotten along with him and he always treats them like an uncle would he didn't have children for his wife had suffered two miscarriage over the period of time and decided to stop trying to get pregnant they talk about adopting but suddenly she didn't want to any more since she couldn't give birth to her own children she rather not to have any, Alexander love children he and Wayne were the only two who wasn't yet a  father so he became an uncle to David children and God father to Denny, ash and Jim kids much as he would love his own children he settled for those of his friends, after breakfast Alexander and Wayne sat on the front porch when David came out dressed and ready they turn to look his way,
"Going out?" Antoinette ask
"But daddy today is Saturday remember uncle said Saturday is for families" Polly said "for on Sundays we go to church,so why are you leaving on a Saturday daddy"
"Uncle need daddy to help him out" David said
Polly look at Alexander
"Listen up Polly, you are right about that sweetie uncle did said that but your dad will only be gone for a short while will that be OK?"
Polly look at her dad then back to Alexander, "OK uncle" she said hugging him he kiss her cheek as he bid her good bye, ruffle Tom's hair hug and kiss Antoinette
David took a number for Alexander soon as they got to the hospital on the way there Wayne had call up ash and he came to meet them,
It wasn't much people at the hospital so it didn't took Alexander long to see the doctor while he was inside with the doctor Wayne, Ash and David was very concerned for it was a bit too long they got up when he came out ahead of the doctor,
"What happened with you man?" David ask  resting a hand on Alexander shoulder,
"What did the doctor say?" Wayne ask
Ash eyes widened in question thinking he has something and now he himself, Denny, Wayne, Jim and David are to be blamed for they forced him on some street side prostitute,
"I'm thinking we should have a drink" Alexander said patting Ash and Wayne on the shoulder as he walk by them to ease David to start walking
"My place" Wayne said,
"I'll call up Denny and Jim" ash said
"Why not?" David ask
Jim and Denny were both waiting on Wayne front porch when David, Wayne, Ash and Alexander got there Alexander still with the key let them all in with some strong alcohol over some poker game they sat  talking and giggling,
"I think it was the best damn sex I had in all my years of sex" Alexander said they all turn and look at him.
"With the hooker?" Ash ask "man I told you man you needed was to get out  more, screw someone else other from your wife"
"I love my wife" Alexander expressed, "but this girl I hate to think of her as any prostitute, she was a pro man a professional she was sweet and sexy firm and clean" Alexander said he has a huge grin on his face while he talks about her and the night he had,
Say what?" Jim ask
"I think you just now got drunk" Denny told him, "she must had drug you"
Alexander shook his head  "man it was nothing like that trust me, her tips reminded me of vanilla ice cream with cherry tapping also of the size of a hockey ball nice and firm that tasted so good"
"You make love to her?" David ask

David look at the others then to Alexander they all were shock by the look on his face they wonder if he has gone completely crazy,
"You know what I think man?" David ask, "I think that you should go home to your wife"
"Should I fix you some garlic tea?" Wayne ask "for I'm more than happy to do this for you"
"Man I'm fine, but you know what I should go home" Alexander got up
"Wait a minute" ash stop him.
"What man?" Alexander ask "you all said that I should go home and then I am to wait, make up your mind" he grumble,
"I really want to know how long did you stay and how much did you pay" ash said
"She said fifty bucks an hour we spent together properly two three hours  could have been more but the condom gave way and i panic, I gave her some extra for she did good"
"How much is extra?" Ash ask,
"I gave her six hundred dollars for her time"
"Six, six hundred dollars on a prostitute I've never gotten to that where I would pay that much on cheep sex"
Alexander shook his head and walk away.
"That guy is crazy" Wayne said pointing at him,
"You guys said I was to do it so I did and now you are the same guys that are complaining, and as a matter of fact it was not cheap sex it was good sex.
"Honey" Gloria Allen came through the gate of Wayne home
"I'm right here hon bunch" Wayne answered looking wide eyed and the guys he wasn't expecting to see Gloria today for she was here last weekend an normally she came home from her job every other week, this weekend she was expecting to be at her mother,
"Alex!" She surprisingly said greeting him as she hug him she came to realize they were all together, "how are you?"
"I'm OK you just caught me on my way out" Alexander said,
"You are leaving as I came?" Gloria asked
"Actually I was doing so before, and much as I would like to stay and chat my wife must be wondering of my wear about,sorry" he said kissing her cheek
"Me too but I guess I'll be seeing you soon right"
"I guess so too Gloria kiss him he was almost at his car "I'll show myself out" he said over his shoulder, the guys look at each other,
"Is he drunk?" Gloria ask
"That's the after effects of a one night stand with a prostitute" David said
"Alexander, you mean, he, he, Alexander slept with a prostitute?" She ask her mouth flew wide in disbelief,
"We should go" Denny got up brace Wayne hug Gloria leaving the front porch before the others got up he had offered to give David a lift since Alexander had left him and they came in the same ride and Jim had taken a ride with ash since Denny was already dropping David,
When they all left the front porch Gloria look at him her eyes still ask some questions but none Wayne was going to answer to avoid talking about it he pulled her in his arms "it's good to see you honey" he said kissing her,

"Well miss Moore I can guarantee you that there's no infection of any sort" the doctor said Ann look at Katey then the doctor,
"Miss Katey is several weeks pregnant" and both Ann and Katey grasp hot air,
They both knew it had to be the one guy who picked her up for he was the first and only and she wasn't pregnant when she came her boyfriend had left her so long ago before she came to new York,
"How could you had not used a condom?" Ann ask
"I did" Katey said "but it broke"

"So what will you do now?"
I still have a little money I will go back to Las angles and go to a shelter"
"And then what?" Ann ask
Katey didn't sure what but she couldn't live on the street pregnant and she has no where here, Ann agree promise that she'll help her to take Care of the baby,
While living at the shelter Katey decided to look for work she was only three months pregnant and got a job in a small la cafeteria because of the pregnancy Katey was only able to work for four months, Anna was still working the street and  send money every week, she was able to take care of herself and prepare  the boys on the way, at the shelter she wasn't required to give anything she has good meal and nurturing food all she did was clean up her second,
Katey didn't have anyone but Ann her parents had past she was an only child with no other family to say when Ann left for new York it was she and her boyfriend until he found someone else he left her,
After Alex and Alec were born Katey remains in the shelter they were six months when she started doing a little work here and there for she was unable to get a permanent job Ann would visit once per week and all what she could she brought, Ann wanted to know Katey was doing great she has been her friend since childhood and was sure she would do the same thing for her,
The boys were five when Katey got a living job at a three stories mansion where she was able to bring the boys to live with her, it was in the rich city on Hollywood street, where a elderly man live Katey job was to care for him, Alexander Kingsley Brodrick was a old man with no family members the place own by him was huge as a small hotel twenty five bed rooms five guess bed rooms and the helpers quarter not included for it was on the first floor to the corner where no one else enter it has three bed rooms and two bath rooms two of those three rooms occupied by her and the boys and one bath room they share the cook get a bath room for herself Mr Brodrick land was over a hundred and fifty archers  next to the sea you could get a full view of la from the third floor, he has a golf court on one side and a small horse farm on the other, three cars parked in the driveway two golf cart and a small truck, from what Katey saw on the pictures place on the wall Mr Brodrick was in to golf the same trophies he held on to in the pictures were all on a shelf in the living room, Katey look around on the people in the pictures but the one that caught his eyes were one of a young boy in his earliest  and she couldn't help but to believe he look like her boys Alex and Alec were six now the guy on the photo seems six years older, thinking he was Mr Brodrick grandson, it's a year now and she only saw his colleagues come to visit he always said his close friends,
Things were becoming bad at Alexander work place he was hardly getting a regular pay and his wife was becoming furious with him he could hardly pay his mortgage and his insurance keep on piling up at the same time his wife kept spending what little they have,
Things finally got worst and the factory had to closed permanently he was now with out a job and his marriage menthe nothing to his wife anymore, she packed and left him going back to her mother taking the last of what he had save up, he was left with out a dime then the insurance company took his car, not long after his house, Alexander find himself home less and when he had no where else to turn he call David for they have been friends since childhood he knew he has a family a wife two kids and both his parents living with him but it was his only option,
David was a true friend his best friend and was sure Alexander would done the same for him, he wasn't going to leave him on the street, for David to take him in Alexander was grateful to him he promised to one day repay him though he wasn't looking for that day soon with each passing day of Alexander's life he prayed for better knowing God would one day answer his prayer for now it seems they all went unanswered but he made no plans to give up hope,
Alexander grew up right here in new York he didn't know anything about any family apart from the older man he grew up with calling him papa it was all he knew him to be he wasn't even sure if he was a distance relative or friend, they never talk much but he help him to go to school he was eighteen when he left the place to go look for work he got a job in a oil company and work for four years before he found Ashely Bank's, few months later they got married in a church one night with only David as their witness and the man who conducted the ceremony they live there years in the rented apartment until he was able  put a mortgage on a home of his own,
When he just moved he went back to ask the man who grew him to come live with him but he refused to he kept writing and sending him post card though he didn't reply Alexander knew he got it for they didn't come back to him,
He had gave up everything to give Ashely everything for he believed she love him for eight years they live a life of a marriage couple he believed with all his heart that she loved him as much as she loved her he told himself that Ashely was the best thing that ever happened to him and he had done everything possible to maintain a good relationship with her taking, her place buying the most expensive gifts loving her and sticking to her alone he didn't see room in his life for a second woman Ashely was all he wanted except for the time David, Ash, Jim, Denny and Wayne won him at the bet and he had to sleep with the hooker,
Monday morning while Mr Brodrick sat on the balcony catching fresh air  outside his room on the second floor Alex and Alec both sat with him, he was scribbling on a piece of paper that was given earlier to him by Katey after asking when he was finish he ask Alec to get his mother, and ask that they go out and play,
Katey abandoned her cleaning and rush to Mr Brodrick soon as the boys said he needed her,
"Come around here Katey" Mr Brodrick said once he heard her foot steps came to the balcony he held a envelope on his lap he hand it to Katey
"Will you drop this down for me?" He ask
"Gladly Mr Brodrick" Katey said looking at it, it was of a new York address addressed to a Alexander Brodrick she dropped it right away and came back up to finish her work fresh up and feed Mr Brodrick then let him take rest before giving him his medication for him to retire for the evening,
Thought the helpers quarter has is own living room with its own television the boys love watching television in the mansion huge  living room the television there was one side of the huge wall and change channels to the movement of someone, when ever Rex Mr Brodrick dog went by the channel would change and he ran off leaving the boys laughing,it puts a smile on Katey's face seeing her boys happy she never told them how they came in this world that they were the results of her getting picked up off the street where she was trying to make money by selling sex, it was funny to her that after the one night she never get picked up again apart from Ann no one else knew what had happened Ann was no longer living down the alley for she finally found a pimp and got a room for herself she didn't really pay all that much for rent but each money she made her pimp took something out of it,
Since Katey was getting a decent pay every week where she was able to help her self and children she send what she could to Ann for back then she use to help her,
