Jaime POV:
"Okay Nightwing, I'll be there soon" I groaned as I put my phone in my back pocket. I pushed my black hair back and slowly walked to the nearest zeta tube. Today was not my day. I got to school late, there was a surprise test in History, and worst of all I had no lunch. Now I have to go to the mountain and see why we're having a meeting today. "Todo esto en un dia?" (All of this in one day?). I sighed and now I was Blue Beetle.
I blinked and I was in Mount Justice. "Recognized Blue Beetle B22" . Bart ran over to me. "What's with the meeting today, ese?" I asked. "Oh we got a new team mate" he said and pointed over to a girl. She had (H/l) (H/c) and shining (e/c) eyes. She wore a mask with a brown jacket with the hood on, black shirt, jeans, and knee-high boots. She stood there awkwardly. Bart pulled me over. She stood next to Batman. "Team this is (s/h/n)" he said. "H-hello" she said and did a small wave. M'gann was the first to greet her. "Hello, (s/h/n). I'm Miss Martian, but you can call me M'gann" she smiled. The girl nodded. "This is, Superboy or Conner, Lagoon Boy or La'gann, Wonder Girl or Cassie, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Mal, Bumble Bee or Karen, Zatanna, Beats Boy or Garfield,Impulse or Bart, and Blue Beetle or Jaime" M'gann said. I studied the girl carefully. She seemed quiet. There was a vibe I was getting from her that I didn't like.
The team greeted her warmly and the girls took her to one of the rooms to talk. Gar and Robin walked up to me and Bart. "What did you guys think of her?" Robin asked. "I thought she was nice, quiet but nice" Gar said. "She seems like she wants to make a good impression" Bart said. "Yeah like you when you first came? You came in head held high and arms raised to go along with it" Gar chuckled. "Yeah okay, fine, fine. But she didn't, that's why I mean that it's okay" Bart defended. "What do you think, Blue?" Robin asked me snapping me out of my train of thought. "She looks interesting" I said. "Interesting!" Bart said tease laced in his voice. I looked at the three of them. All were smirking. "Does Jaime have a crush on (s/h/n)?" Gar said the pitch in his voice higher than normal. They began to laugh. "Haha very funny. No I don't, I mean that I don't trust her" I said and they stopped laughing. Bart put his hand on my shoulder. "Aw c'mon Blue lighten up a bit, she seems good" he said. "I don't know hermano, maybe in time. But for now I don't trust her" I said.
Your POV:
I felt intimidated. I mean I'm quiet. Sometimes I feel trapped in my own head. The girls they're nice and welcoming. The boys seemed calm. But the one I was so excited to see was the one that looked so serious. Blue Beetle. After he saved me last spring I had developed a crush on him. "So (s/h/n), what do you think of the mountain?" Zatanna asked. "It's nice, pretty homey" I said. "Oh so you do talk" Karen said jokingly. "Y-yeah, sorry for being so quiet" I said. "It's alright, there's no issue, (s/h/n)" M'gann smiled. "You can call me (Y/n)" I said. "I saw you looking at Blue back there. Is there anything you want to tell us?" Batgirl asked. "Barbara" I whisper-yelled.

The girls were called in by Nightwing so I stayed in my room. I then heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened it. Impulse or Bart stood in front of me. "Oh hi, Bart, I-I mean Impulse" I stammered. He chuckled. "Bart is fine" he said. I sighed. "So, I was wondering if you would want to go out to eat? The rest of the team wants to celebrate our latest victories, you wanna join?" he asked. I nodded. "S-sure, let me get ready" I said. "Great" he said.
Bart POV:
I was surprised when they introduced (s/h/n) and she was quiet. In the future she is one of the most respected and admired heroes. I really glad she's here. Mainly because I get to play match maker with her and Blue. In the future, even if Reach Blue is there she was his light. I did do my research, I did know it was all going to happen like this, but I can't be giving any spoilers, Sorry Crashers! Also sorry for breaking the fourth wall.
