Imperfection

They told her she was fragile and weak
These horrible remarks she believed
She was told to be dutiful and quiet
So she sat silently but on the inside were riots

And that day when she had the chance
She whispered evil into his ear
He listened, fell into this trance
Of murder, of blood, no fear

She played along with his deeds, his sin
Lied, betrayed, killed
He was haunted of remorse and guilt
But together they vanquished the kin

For a while with her life she was content
But then too much power he spent
Children, mothers, son
He destroyed each and everyone

Then it all came back to her
The humanity she lacked before
She realised what she had done
The monstrosity that she begun

The tyrant she created
Who once called her greatest dear
So punishment she awaited
But he couldn't taint with fear

She couldn't help him anymore
All she saw was blood on her hands
She created this cold war

So she lay ill in her bed
And thought what they said is true
Here she lay weak
Her broken, crumbling physique
Was waiting for him to come

But the battle raged instead
Their once great love was dead

So was his morals
So his wife
So the thanes
Took his life

OK this is like the longest poem I've ever written and if you didn't catch on this poem is in fact inspired by Macbeth, focusing more on Lady Macbeth. Sigh this is what English Literature has done to me.

Anyways I hit 1000 READS!!! I can't believe this thank you so much to everyone bothered to even spend a minute reading my book. It means so much to me.
