"Are you going to lock her back up?" A lady asks the question we're all wondering.
"I'd be a fool not to." His voice echoes through the quite building. He nods to his people and two men grab my arms as rough as the can, leading me to the cell once more. I don't fight back, for there's no need of that. I'm thrown in the cell, my back running along the floor. The door slams and there's a figure to my side, helping me to my feel. Alden.
"Thanks." I mutter, standing along the wall. He nods.
"You alright?" I just nod, not really caring. "Do you know when you get out?"
"Tomorrow for the war, you?"
"I get out tomorrow but I have to stay here to clean up."
"Brook?" I hear from the cell next to us. It's sounds like Sasha.
"Sasha?" I question back, going to a small hole in the wall. I see her stand there as well, smiling. I smile, as well, to see a familiar face. "How are you?"
"Good, but I have a plan to make it better; for us, Alexandria, and Hilltop." I scrunch my face.
"What's so great about Hilltop?"
"Maggie runs it now." I smile at the thought of Maggie taking her role.
"What's the plan?"
"I have Eugene getting me a weapon to kill Negan, he doesn't know that it's for him though." I furrow my eyebrows at her.
"What does he think it's for?" As the words leave my mouth, I know what she told him.
"That it was to kill myself, so don't let him know about that." I nod, hearing footsteps coming over. I move away from the wall and go back to my spot. I stand next to Alden as Eugene and Sasha whisper to each other about her mission. After a few minutes, he walks away in a swift motion.
Everyone is silent for a while. I check my watch and see that it is 12:37 AM. I sigh, knowing it's going to be a restless night. I look by the window and see Alden passed out under the moonlight. I step closer to the hole in the wall, but feel a fierce pain from my stomach. I double over in pain, clenching my stomach as a way to relief the pain. It doesn't work, but I stay in the position.
5:34 AM rolls around and I'm still in that same position, still hurting something awful. I push through the pain as I stand, going to the booming noises outside the door. I clutch the bars with one hand and my stomach with the other. Men come running back and forth, weapons at their arms.
"Hurry! Negan wants to leave soon!" I push off the bars, feeling sick as bang on the wall to wake Sasha up.
"What?" She asks, suddenly. Alden pops up, looking around. He holds a petrified look on his face.
"What's wrong?" He asks, referring to the sudden banging and my clutched stomach.
"They're getting ready for war." I speak loud enough for the two of them to hear me. I let go of my aching stomach so Alden will stop giving me looks of worry. I look out the bars in the door when I hear a familiar voice, Carson.
"I came here willingly, you could at least be easy on me." He mutters.
"Carson!" I exclaim, he turns his head and smiles. He makes them stop for a moment to speak with me. "Why are they bringing you here?"
