By the end of the work day, Asami was practically exhausted. Korra watched her mistress fall asleep on her own desk at one point, only for her to be woken up by a knock on the door the next moment. Once the person left, Korra stepped towards Asami, placing a careful hand on the girl's shoulder. Asami placed her own on top of Korra's bandaged hand, kissing the knuckles softly. This earned the taller girl a blush from the shorter, and the butler smiled. "Do you need a break?" She asked, turning her head to look at Asami.

Asami thought for a moment, leaning back against her chair. "I have no doubt that you've memorized my schedule for to-," she started.

"You're free for about fourty minutes," Korra cut in, earning a small glare from Asami.

The rich woman stood, turning to face Korra, who promptly took her hand off of Asami's shoulder. "Don't cut me off, Korra. Perhaps we could use those fourty minutes to train you some more," she said, putting her hand on Korra's abdomen. However, when Korra almost immediately winced, Asami pulled her hand away. "Don't you have painkillers?" Asami asked, worry lining her voice. "And more importantly, don't you need to take them?" She asked, lifting Korra's shirt to see a gauze pad covering where the bullet went into her.

Korra sighed, putting her hands on Asami's, and pulling one to her own lips. "I'm...." She began, then remembered not to lie. "It's... nothing I can't handle," she said, kissing Asami's knuckles. "If I feel I need to take them, I will take my painkillers. I just don't see a need to," she said, smiling enough for it to come off as reassuring.

Asami frowned, taking Korra's hands. "Tonight, I want you to take your painkillers. That's not a request, it's a command," she said, looking the shorter girl in the eyes.

Korra nodded, fidgeting softly. "Yes, Mistress," She said quietly, averting her gaze downwards.

Asami then wrapped her arms around Korra's waist, putting her chin on top of Korra's head. "I want to look at your leg before I go to sleep tonight," she said, earning a small nod from her butler. "That being said, no forgetting. You're getting punished if that happens to be the one thing you forget," she said, pulling away from Korra and earning yet another nod.

So, as the day ended, and Korra made sure to get Asami back home, the taller woman promptly dragged the shorter to her own room, and sat her down. It took a good ten minutes for Asami to get Korra to stop whining about how this whole thing was pointless, and that she would be fine. Asami explained that Korra had been standing all day, and that the wound could have gotten worse. So, after the lengthy time, and Asami basically ordering Korra to take her painkillers, Korra was dismissed.

That being said, Korra retreated to her room, where her prescription painkillers were. She took two, the prescribed amount, then three, then four. After about ten minutes, Korra began to get a headache, so she impulsively took two more, then two more after that.

Next, Korra made her way to Bolin in the kitchen. She smiled at the chef, giving him a small salute. "No time for dinner. Let's make breakfast," she said, clapping her own hands together. After a couple hours, the two managed to make what looked like gourmet oatmeal with an omelet on the side. It was around 8:20, and Korra was a little dizzy. After helping Bolin put everything away, she leaned against a wall, panting softly.

The chef walked over, putting a careful hand on Korra's shoulder. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked, taking note of Korra's paler than usual complexion and thousand yard stare.

Korra simply nodded. "I'm okay."
