Have you ever grasped on to something so magnificent that you struggle to fathom the existence of that thing, but in the scheme of things, it is causing you nothing but magnificent pain? To the point where it becomes somewhat of an imperial affliction? That is the problem for seventeen year old Caroline Mathers. Caroline was never a normal girl, so I will spare the illusion. Caroline was born different than others, and I mean more than just her unhealthy obsession with the TV show Supernatural that caused her to physically yearn to be like the characters and her love for bands, no, I mean she was born with abilities that would cause her great wins, and great losses. In the spring of her sixteenth year she becomes aquainted with a boy named Luke Hemmings. Hamartias are what made this boy who he was. He was nothing but, as I said before, a compilation of fatal flaws. No matter the amount of flaws, Caroline was drawn to him. He was like Lucifer; beautiful and sinful. She couldn't get enough, leading her to aquire so much that she couldn't handle it, or so she thought.
