Okay this has to be Caspian, God daaaamn!!!

__________

I did it, and I was bleeding a whole lot. I had to stay in the shower a bit longer so that I can wash off most of the blood from the razor cuts. My arms burned, the fresh cuts screaming as the water pellets hit them.

Fortunetly, Sars had gotten me a long sleeved shirt along with simple Jean capri's. I turned the water off and quickly got changed, not wanting her to see the a ready bleeding wounds scattered on my arms. Once I got the long-sleeve on I no longer rushed and took my time.

"Are you going to give him a chance?" Sars asked, looking up at me. She was currently seated on the counter with a bottle of hand soap in her hand.

"I don't know Sars, I'm scared," I answered honestly, not bothering to build up the wall I usually do with her.

"I think you should."

"You do realize I can't just give him a chance. Just because he's my mate doesn't mean he can't do the same thing that...." I went silent, not wanting to speak about what happened earlier.

"Look, I can tell you he won't do anything like that to you. Remember I had a vision, I saw you two." She opened up, her eyes staring into mine. "He wouldn't dare do that to you," she said lowly.

I quickly looked away, and started to walk out of the bathroom. Not wanting to continue this conversation. So she had seen him and I in her vision yet she never told me at that moment I would see my mate.

She could have not seen that in her vision though, Roxanne suggested and I agreed. I can't just assume the worst out of her.

I walked into the room I've been staying in for the past week. I saw Caspian sitting on the bed with his hands intertwined on his lap. He looked lost, his blue eyes glossed over. I wouldn't blame him for this deathly look. He did see me get almost raped.

"Hey."

His head shot into my direction, his eyes met mine for a quick second before they trailed down my body. He then met my eyes again and gave me a small smile. I ran a hand over my face, before walking further into the room.

"Why do I smell your blood, did he hurt you that much?" He questioned, his eyes shifting from his normal hazel eyes to blazing orange.

"It's nothing, Caspian" I said softly and his facial features softened as I said his name.

"Do you want to stay here?" He asked, patting the space on the bed beside him.

I shook my head not wanting to be that close to him yet. He seemed hurt by this but shook it off. My wolf whimpered, wanting to be close to our mate and be consoled by him. I just wasn't comfortable with that yet.

"What do you mean?" I inquired, not understanding what his question meant.

"I mean, do you want to stay here or come back with me?" He asked, this time telling me what he meant. I was taken aback that he allowed me to make this decision.

Maybe this is a trick to earn my trust? Or maybe he's just saying this but what I say doesn't matter?

"I-i uh... I want to leave but I don't want to go so soon," I looked down at my feet, squeezing my eyes shut.

"Take as long as you need," he said calmly, and my heart skipped a beat at how he allowed me to not have to rush to leave.

"Thank you."

"No, thank you. I'm so glad your okay. I'm so sorry Brielle that I didn't get there earlier. I wish I found you quicker so you didn't get hurt by that asshole," he said, touching my hand with one of his gently.

I felt the sparks at our skin to skin contact. Both of us sprung back on shock that it would feel like that. It was too late, we both felt the mate bond beginning. I slowly raise my head and I met his hazel eyes.

I couldn't stare into his eyes for too long because it made me feel so vulnerable. His aura just made me want to tell him all of my problems and let him take care of me. I do not like that. I'm an independent woman whose been taking care of herself for all these years. Why do I need a man to be dependent on if I have myself.

"Brielle," he breathed out, and shivers ran down my spine from how he said my name. My body heated up, and I can only imagine how red my face is.

"Y-yes?" I asked softly, letting my hair cover my face.

"I- i .... I have to go," he said quickly and got up off the bed and sprinted to the door. Once he shut the door behind him I let out a breath I didn't know I was hiding.

I flopped down onto the bed with my face staring up at the cieling. So much has happened today. I feel as though I've aged 20 more years in just this single day. My lips formed a frown as the images cycled in my head.

I was interupted when I heard a small knock on my door. I don't even bother to look over since I know who it is.

"Come in," I said softly and the door creaked open.

"Bri bri," I heard Seren sniffle before he ran from the door frame to the bed. He jumped on top of me and hugged me. "I'm so sorry I couldn't save you, I'm supposed to protect you and Sars because I'm the brother. I failed you Bri Bri," He cried into the crook of my neck, cuddling into my body as if he was back to being the small baby Sars and I took care of.

"Seren you did the best you could, you are my hero," I say softly pulling him away so I can see his face.

I saw his tear streaked face and I let out a sigh. I kissed his forhead, and hugged him against me. I rubbed soothing circles into the boy's back, and soon he fell asleep half way on top of me. I didn't mind it though since I know he won't do a thing to me.

"Is he asleep?" I heard Sars say from the door frame. I look up to see my best friend and I nod.

"Yeah, he needs it. You both must've been worried about me when I just ran off," I said looking down at the young boy in my arms.

"Yes, we were," she said walking further into the room with her hands on her hips.

"I-i have something to tell you though," she said softly, looking down at her feet.

My best friend was a complete airhead that knew how to get on my nerves. But she never gets shy, ever! Which means something is serious, something happened while I was gone.

"I found my mate," she said softly, sitting on the end of the bed. Nervously fiddling with her fingers that were on her lap.

"Y-you what? I'm so happy for you!" I gave her a small smile, she cheered me up a bit hearing some good news.

"Y-you are?" She said dumbfounded looking at me.

"Of course, you've always talked about wanting a mate," I said with a small smile. "How about you show me him when I'm feeling better?" I suggest and she intantly nods her head and gets up off the bed.

Short chapter today because I want to start with the next one which will be more of Caspian and Brielle. I'm not rushing their relationship at all, this will be a very slow development, especially after what had happened. She won't be as trusting now after what Elvis has done.

Do you guys want Elvis to live? Or to be dead?

Who do you think Sars Mate is?

Could It be Tim or someone completely different?
