Part Fourteen

Just like any airport scenes, letting Jia go is so hard. No one is crying but no one is also even trying to say anything while we wait for her flight to be called.

Alam mo yung alam mong any minute they'll call Jia's flight already but you're still wishing na mapatagal ito because you just can't let your bestfriend go.

I roam my eyes around with the people we're with. Jia's family is here, Bea is also here.

Bea's actually just at the side, kind enough to let Jia be with her family. She knows that they'll miss each other so much. Of course, she will too pero alam naman niyang pamilya ang una sa puso ni Jia.

And kung meron man dito who is so capable to get a flight agad agad papuntang Thailand kapag namimiss si Jia, si Bea yun.

"Flight 01214 to Thailand, please proceed to gate 4 now." We heard being announced.

Hay, it's time. I looked at Jia.

Jia sadly smiled at us. "So that's me."

Her family went near to her and hugged her.

"Ano ba yan iiyak nanaman ako. Tama na nga." Jia said and let go of the hug.

Her family laughed as they wipe their small tears.

"Mag-iingat ka don, Jia. If you have a problem, tumawag ka agad sa amin ni mamu mo." Tito Ariel said.

"Do not hesitate to ask for help, Jia. Ok? And we support you and will cheer our hearts for you even if we're afar." Dagdag naman ng mamu ni Jia.

Jia nodded. "Yes po. Promise, I'll do good. Jobok ha, yung sinabi ko sayo.. wag kang sakit ng ulo kina mamu." She said as she pinch her brother's cheeks.

"Aray ko naman, ate. Oo na." Jobok said. Natawa naman kami as he caresses his cheeks.

Jia turned to Bea and extended her arms. Bea smiled as she approached Jia and hugged her. "Behave ka ha, babe."

Bea chuckled as she nodded. "Oo naman, ako pa. I will miss you much. If my sched is already fixed, I'll visit you there."

Pinalo siya ni Jia sa braso. "Ikaw, wag nga yan ang iniisip mo. Concentrate on your last season and your acads. Also, I know tito Elmer has been demending time from you for your business. Focus ka don."

Bea pouted. "Kaya nga kapag maayos na schedule ko sabi ko eh.... I will miss you.."

Jia smiled. "I love you." She whispered.

She looked at me and motioned to join their hug.

I gladly did what she said. I extended my arm to cover Jia and Bea.

"Wag niyo ako masyadong mamimiss ha." Jia said.

Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Bea as we laugh.

"Wag din kayo masyadong maging sakit ng ulo sa iba. Yung mga bilin ko. Jhoana..." Jia let go of the hug.

"Grabe, Ji parang 10 years ka naman sa Thailand niyan." I joked.

"Oo nga. OFW lang ang peg ate?" Singit ni Jobok.

She rolled her eyes and chuckled. She looked at Bea and held her hand. "Wait for me, ok?"

Bea nodded. "I love you. Do good, my best setter."

"Kayo na bahala sa isa't isa." Jia said. Again, Bea and I looked at each other and nodded.

"Last hug." Hingi ni Jia so Bea and I sandwiched her.

"I'll miss you guys." She whispered. Her voice cracked that we had to stop our tears kung hindi baka hindi na makaalis si Jia.

We wiped the small tears as we let go of the hug.
