Joker and Lucy were long gone from Bane. They were in the middle of no where. "Where are we?" Lucy asked. J rolled his eyes. "I know this whole city. We're fine. Just keep looking out the window like a weirdo" She squinted her eyes. "It's not weird. It's soothing" J laughed. That's what Harley use to say. "What's so funny? It's true." J went back to driving. "Ok whatever"

They arrived in a little town about 3 hours far from Gotham. J parked in front of a gas station. They got out of the car. He gave her some money. "Here. Get what you want and hurry. I have to jack a car. Who knows if this one we took has a tracker which I'm sure it does" Lucy scoffed. "You're joking right? A tracker? That's ridiculous" He gave her a serious look. "Hurry up." She made a salute gesture sarcastically and walked in the store. She looked in her hand. It was a stack of money rolled up. "Holy shit!" She said quietly. She grabbed anything she could find. She checked out and ran outside.

J honked to tell her which car he was in. It was a Lamborghini. He was so quick. There was already a full tank. She got in. "Wow you are fast! I can't believe I'm in a robbed vehicle. Are we going to get caught?" J looked at her with a serious face. "Stop worrying. Just enjoy the ride and if we do get caught, I'll blame it on you" She scoffed. "Okay" She said sarcastically. They had a quick laugh and drove off once again.

It was quiet in the car. With nothing but chewing and slurping sounds. Lucy started the conversation. She was curious about why he was so cool with her. "Why are you being so nice to me? Why didn't you just leave me there and have no problems? You could've been safe" He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm always into trouble girl. I'm a troublemaker. You were my escape from that hell hole" She raised her eyebrows. "Wow. Smart. Well thank you for saving me" He didn't say anything. He just kept driving. "So... how did you rob this? You just, took it and no one saw? It's so nice! I want this." J shrugged his shoulders. "I have my ways" Little did she know J had always been a few steps ahead. He had this car parked and hidden for a while. It was his escape car. He knew that someday he would leave Bane and escape. He's The Joker. "Wow. This is so cool" He smiled. "That's the spirit. So where do you live?" She raised her eyebrows. "Why do you want to know? That's creepy" J laughed. "You just escaped with the most evil villain in Gotham and now are in a car with him but you won't tell me where you live? Wow your funny" She rolled her eyes. "Let's just say I live in Metropolis. In the nice area. The rich area I guess you can say" J nodded his head. "So you're telling me your mother knows that you came this far and was fine with it?" Lucy looked down. "She doesn't know that I ran away..." He stopped the car. "What?!" Her eyes were wide open. "What! Why are you freaking out for?!" J rubbed his head. "Why? Why would you do that to your mother?! She must be worried sick! Call her right now!" Lucy was confused. Why was he being so, like a parent? "It's fine. She hasn't called me or anything. I'm waiting for her. I don't want to tell her that I'm gone when she doesn't know it" J drove on the road again. "Where is your house? We are close to Metropolis. I'll drop you off. You're mother is probably having a heart attack" Lucy laughed. "She'll be fine. I'm sure" Lucy said with a sure tone but was worried on the inside.

They arrived in Metropolis. It was awkward. J being so strict made Lucy not be so happy. Why does he care? They stopped at a close by diner. It was empty. "I'm going to take a piss. Wait here and DON'T go anywhere" Lucy rolled her eyes. "Obviously. Why would I leave?" She had attitude of both her mom and her dad. It was funny.

J got back in the car. Lucy had her arms crossed. "Listen, I just don't want to have any problems. I already do with Bane and so do you" Lucy didn't answer. J rolled his eyes and started the car. "Why do you care so much about my mother and I? You don't even know us" J rubbed his head in frustration. Should he tell her? "I don't need to answer that. You know what I forgot to ask you this a while back" Lucy looked at him. "What?" J took a calm deep breath. "So your father. You don't know anything about him? Not even his name?" She looked down. "Nope. Nothing. I was going to ask Bane before I killed him but that plan didn't work" J looked out the window. "I see" Lucy shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah. Anyways can we just go please. It's getting late" J couldn't take it anymore. She had to know before he dropped her off. The Lamborghini would be obvious. Harley would notice. She would also want to see who took her daughter back home. "I need to tell you something Lucy and you're not going to be so thrilled when you hear it" Lucy looked at him. "What is it? Is it about my father? Did you know him?!" J took a deep breath. "Lucy..." Lucy was getting nervous. "Yeah?" He looked into her eyes. "I-I'm your father. It's me cupcake" Her eyes widened. Was he serious? The signs were there but could it really be? Was The Joker, The Clown Prince of Crime, the man who she thought was so cool and that saved her, her father?
