Jessie was walking to the middle school to pick up Junhyuk when she was grabbed by her arm and whipped around.

She quickly looked at the person in front of her with wide eyes. He still hadn't let go of her arm.

"Jieun right?" Yeosang asked, he had a slight urgency in his eyes. He wasn't sure why he felt the need to stop this girl from getting involved with Mingi, he normally didn't care. He thought this time was because she was new and Mingi needed to stop messing around with girls and focus on Ateez real work.

"I'd prefer Jessie," she replied, eyeing Yeosang curiously.

"Ok, Jessie then. I'm Yeosang," he introduced himself, not knowing she knew who he was from her new friends.

"I've heard," Jessie replied simply, still confused why he was talking to her.

"You're friends with Treasure right?" Yeosang asked.

"Treasure?"

"Byonggon's group," he clarified.

"Oh, I guess so, although we kind of just met today," Jessie answered.

"Have they warned you about us yet? Ateez?" Yeosang questioned.

Jessie stayed quiet, not knowing what to reply with. Yeosang looked at her, waiting for her reply.

After a moment of silence, Yeosang sighed and said, "I'm going to take that as a yes. Even if they hadn't, I just wanted to tell you we aren't as bad as everyone says. Just..." he trailed off at the end.

"Just?" Jessie led him on to finishing.

"Just be careful around Mingi," he spit out the words quickly, like if he had gone slower he wouldn't have said it.

"Mingi? Why?" Jessie questioned.

"Just trust me on this, please?" he stated, sounding more like a question.

"A-alright?" Jessie stuttered from her confusion.

Yeosang turned and began to walk away, Jessie watching him for a few seconds before doing the same. However, as soon as she turned she heard him call out.

"Jess!" he called. She turned and looked at him.

"I never talked to you, ok?" Yeosang spoke in an intimidating tone, sounding completely different than he had only seconds ago.

"Ok," Jessie said, still very confused but understanding saying no wasn't an option.

Yeosang stares at her for a minute before nodding once and turning away, seemingly satisfied with her answer.

Jessie looked at him in confusion before turning away and going to the middle school.

Mingi POV

Tzuyu gave Mingi a wide smile as he walked up to her after calling her name.

"Hey babe! We haven't hung out in a while, want to today?" Tzuyu asked, giving Mingi a hug, one which he didn't return.

"No Tzuyu, this isn't about that," Mingi spoke, voice void of all emotion.

"You don't want to hang out today? How about tomorrow?" Tzuyu asked, oblivious to Mingi's obvious reason for talking to her.

Her smile slightly faded when he didn't say anything in response, before she regained it, saying, "If not tomorrow then the next day? Or whenever works for you, I just want to hang out soon because I feel-"

"How about never? That sounds good," Mingi snapped before she could finish, his already deep voice slightly deeper than normal.

"W-what?" Tzuyu questioned, knowing fully what he meant but not believing it.

"We're breaking up," Mingi spoke simply, not offering an explanation.

"Why?" Tzuyu asked in confusion, still slightly in denial.

Mingi didn't respond and just turned to walk away, leaving Tzuyu with tears in her eyes.

This was just how Mingi was, he'd get with girls and then breakup with them when he grew bored of them, never fully explaining to them why. Tzuyu was his latest victim, but they never stopped falling for him. No matter how many girls he left in tears, more kept coming. Mingi never cared for any of them.

Super short I'm sorry. There wasn't much more to add that fit in with this chapter. The next one will be longer.
