"Y/N! Y/N, wake up!"
One eye opens, soon then the other. With a groggy expression, you focus on the intense blue eyes darting at you in distress. Startled and confused, you sit up, stroking a hand through your messy hair. It was 12:43 AM, why wouldn't it be?
"Wh-what...?"
You tiredly growl out, still trying to focus on the female in front of you. It doesn't help it's pitch black outside. The hurried voice waves a hand in front of your face, causing you to snap out of your sleepy trance. It was your best friend, Gwen Stacy, all decked out on her Spider-Gwen uniform.
"It's me! Gwen! I really need your help right now, so I need you to wake up!"
You blink about a dozen times, your heart beginning to race.
"H-How'd you get in?? Gah, nevermind that! What do you need? What happened?"
Gwen grabs your shoulder, fully grabbing your attention, and partially waking you up.
"I need somewhere to stay tonight. There's some really bad people out to get me, and they know where I live. My web-slinger broke, and I'm seriously in a bind. So I was hoping maybe I could stay here...?"
She raises her eyebrows, smiling very softly, revealing her little gapped teeth. God, you love her gapped teeth. Without thinking, you shrug with a tired smirk.
"Yeah, of course! As long as you're safe and out of danger, stay as long as you need."
She enthusiastically fist bumps the air, relieved. Gwen kisses your forehead softly before running over to close your unlocked window that she entered through. You feel your cheeks reddening, but fight the sensation off.
"Ahh, thank you so much, Y/N! I don't know how I could repay you!"
