Chapter 15

Shawn's POV:

I got a call from Taylor saying that they were in an accident. I didn't want to leave the ice cream parlor so I told him to call when they made it to the hospital. "What happened?" I looked at Averie, and couldn't bring myself to tell her the news, but I had to. "They were in an accident." She looked shocked. "Taylor is going to call when they make it to the hospital." She nodded, and we continued to eat our frozen yogurts in silence.

Aria's POV:

I came to once more, only to find out that we were still in the car. "Carter, it hurts." "I know. They should be here any minute." "Okay. Taylor, who did you call?" "Shawn." "How are you not in any pain?" "I am, but he needed to know." "Oh." I heard sirens in the distant, coming closer. "Is...is that them?" "I think so." "Nash how's Nicole?" "She's alright. She just blacked out." "Hey, where's Matt and Lori?" "They snuck off during dinner." "Oh yeah. What about Hayes?" "He got picked up." The sirens got closer, and I could see the lights, everything was blurry, my eyes were getting heavy. 

Carter's POV:

"What hit them?" "I heard voices outside of the car. "A diesel." "Hit and run?" "Yes, sir." "Anybody get the license plate?" "Yes, sir. My wife did." "Are you the one who called?" "Yes sir." "Did you move any of them?" "No sir, just tried to get the door open to see how bad the damage is." What is going on out there? Sounds like a sheriff and deputy talking to each other. "Okay, any reports, deputy?" Oh. "Young girl in the front, maybe 18 hasn't opened her eyes, young girl in the back lodged between front seat and back. Two young men are sprawled in the back, the driver seems to have broken his arm." "Anything else?" "None that I saw, or heard, sheriff." "We'll get them out, and see what the damage is." "Yes sir." More sirens came. More lights filled the window. "They're gonna get you out of here, babe." I whispered to Aria, even though I knew she couldn't hear me. I heard metal being pulled, and then some people shouting orders. They took Cameron and Allie out first. The firefighters came through the door and removed the drivers seat, being cautious of where Aria was lodged. Once they removed the seat, they took Aria out. "There's two more young men and a couple in here." One man shouted to someone. "Okay!" I heard a females response. They removed Nash and Nichole, then Taylor and Jack G, and then removed me and Jack J last. "I want to be with my girlfriend." I mumbled. "Who is your girlfriend?" One of the officers asked me. I pointed to Aria, and they brought me over to her. I reached out and grabbed her hand. Just as I did that, her eyes opened. "Any pain?" I was being asked questions.

Taylor's POV:

"Any pain?" "Some." "Where?" "Head, left wrist." "On a scale of 1-10 how bad is the pain?" "About a 7." "Alright." I was lifted up into an ambulance, while Allie was being air lifted to the hospital. I saw Carter over by Aria, it made me sick. He doesnt deserve her. She's to good for him. I can't believe I used to bully her. I took one last look at everybody before the shut the back of the ambulance and it drove off.
