Cloe stood at her locker looking at herself in the locker mirror she had inside. "Okay. I need to ask you guys something and I need you to be totally honest with me," she sighed, turning towards the others.
"Of course," they all said together.
"Is this side of my face fatter than this side?"
"No," they replied together. Cloe touched her cheek and neck, unsure.
"Is that Ian?" Jade asked, seeing him shake hands with a teacher.
"Yeah, I hear he's the new field hockey coach," Yasmin sighed.
"Does Melissa know he's back?" Sasha asked.
"I don't know why she ever broke up with him," Cloe added.
"She didn't," Yasmin replied. "He broke up with her."
"Hey," Fianna greeted, coming up to them, giving them all invitations. "The first one's for my bestie and one for each of you, my bestie's other friends."
"What's this?" Jade asked, looking at the invitation.
"Oh nothing, only an invitation to the most awesome birthday party ever," Fianna smiled. "Camp Fianna."
"Camp Fianna?" Jade repeated, giggling.
"Don't let the camping part scare you," she reassured them. "It's glamping, not camping. "F" is for Fianna. There will be massages and not mosquitoes. Oh! Naomi, Riley! Wait up!" She ran over to two girls.
"Why is Fianna inviting us to her birthday party?" Yasmin laughed.
"She knows that we're friends again and she's just trying to reach out to you," Cloe replied. "She's trying to be nice. So are you gonna go?"
Yasmin sighed. "I know she's your friend but-"
"Yeah, I'm gonna have to pass," Jade added. "I've got this-"
"I got a lot of stuff to do this weekend," Yasmin sighed.
"Me too," Sasha finished. Everyone's phone beeped and they looked at their screens.
"Camp Fianna's a scavenger hunt and I'm the prize?" Yasmin read.
"Come and find me, Bratz," Cloe read.
"A," they read together.
Jade's house the next day................
Jade grabbed clothes and put it in the laundry basket as Byron came out of his room. "Oh, um... I was gonna do the laundry tonight," he admitted as she grabbed the laundry and carried it into her room.
"This place is out of control," she sighed.
"Yeah, well... I guess we're all gonna have to pitch in a little bit more around here," he replied as she opened her closet and put dirty clothes in the basket. "Maybe we could take turns. We each choose a night to cook and then do the laundry and then pay the bills and then help your brother with his homework and then find time to grade papers and write lectures and go to PTA meetings and we-"
"Dad, how much coffee have you had?" she joked.
"Are you still having lunch with your mom tomorrow?" he asked.
"Yeah."
"At The Grille?" he added.
"Yep."
"What do you think she would do if I were to come along?" he asked nervously as he grabbed one of her shirts and started folding it.
"Um, I don't know," Jade shrugged. "Why don't you just call her and ask?" She took the shirt from him. "Dad no, that's dirty. What's stopping you?"
"She asked me for space," he sighed.
"She moved out, how much more space does she need?"
Yasmin's house...........
Yasmin stood at the kitchen counter making coffee as Melissa came in. "Good morning," Melissa smiled, grabbing a cup from the cupboard and getting juice from the fridge. "Juice?"
"Why are you being nice to me?" Yasmin asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Why didn't you tell me Ian was back?"
"Because normal for us is not speaking," she reminded her.
"He told me he saw you at Raya's memorial," Melissa replied.
"Well, we didn't talk," Yasmin shrugged.
"He asked me out for coffee."
"That's good right?" she asked, looking at her and drinking her coffee.
"Ian broke my heart, Yasmin, and I'm still getting over Wren," Melissa reminded her. "So I said no."
"I'm really sorry about Wren, Melissa," Yasmin sighed. "I really am."
"Yeah," Melissa replied skeptically, grabbing her juice and leaving her alone.
Styles High corridor.......................
"What could they have found?" Cloe whispered to Yasmin.
"I don't know," Yasmin sighed.
"Hey, what's going on?" Jade asked, walking up to them.
"The cops are here," Cloe replied.
"I heard they found something of Raya's," Yasmin added. They started walking to the office when they heard their names called over the PA system.
Office................
Cloe heard her phone beep and looked down to see a text from Fianna.
Screw you!
"Sorry to keep you waiting, I'm Agent Cooper," the detective greeted, walking in and handing Yasmin her badge.
"FBI?" Yasmin read.
"This is my partner Agent Rendall and we're here because the Bureau was asked by the local authorities to assist in the investigation of Raya DiLaurentis's murder," Cooper explained. "I want to show you something that was sent to the Stylesville Police Department by an anonymous source. The family's given me permission to show it to the four of you." She pushed play.
"Wanna see more?" Raya said to the camera, folding her jacket over her. "I know you want to. If the girls knew I was seeing you- oh my gosh, they would not shut up about it," she added, laughing. "I wish they were more mature but... We don't have a lot of time. I have to get back before they wake up." She smiled at the person holding the camera. "I know you wanna kiss me."
Agent Cooper paused the video. "Is there anything you can tell me about what you see?" she asked.
"They're at the Kissing Rock," Sasha replied. "It's in the woods behind the lake."
"I-I think this was taken the night Raya disappeared," Jade added. "She was wearing that yellow top."
"Wait, that's not her sweater," Cloe observed.
"Are you sure?" Cooper replied.
"Ask me what's in each one of our closets and I'll give you an itemized list," she replied. "I know clothes."
"I think she's talking to the older boy," Yasmin admitted.
"So called mystery boyfriend?" Cooper asked.
