out of the shock from seeing their faces, seokjin, hoseok, and taehyung all stood up from their chairs and rushed over to their table, not caring if they were disrupting any sort of date. they were their friends, and seeing them came before anything else.

yoongi, namjoon, and jimin sat at a small table in the corner of the cafe. they were all huddles close together as cats crawled around their legs. jimin, though, was holding a small calico cat and staring down at it lovingly as his lovers spoke to him.

the three who had just arrived rushed over to their table, not caring about personal space, and slid into their booth to sit with them.

"what are you guys doing here?" jimin asked as he looked away from his precious cat, deciding it was more important to pay attention to his old friends than an animal he had known for about five minutes.

"we could say the same to you," taehyung interjected, leaning over the table to look closer at the jimin. he looked a tad bit smaller than he used to, he looked slightly more mature. his hair was light brown, almost his natural color. yoongi's hair remained a platinum blonde, and namjoon had his natural dark hair. they all looked wonderful together, truly in love with each other.

"well, since the cafe is no longer at home we decided to take a break from work and come here," namjoon said as he held yoongi's coat in his lap, fiddling with the hem. namjoon only nodded while jimin but down the cat, taking the time to look at his friends.

"jungkook's out at work," taehyung said. he felt the question lingering in the energy of the room and decided to just let the answer come out. "he and i are both working to reopen my parlor and an art gallery for him. we're getting close."

"that's great tae!" jimin cheered from in his seat, as he gazed back at taehyung. "even though you too are working make sure to keep some time for each other, that's what's really important. i know whenever yoongi or namjoon get to busy i get sad and miss them."

taehyung nodded, letting his long lashes kiss his upper cheeks, and he smiled sadly, realizing that he wanted jungkook to stop working so hard, but really wanted him to just come home. once we're done with opening the store we'll have all the time for each other, taehyung though, his mood lifting higher again. he felt bad that jungkook couldn't be here to see any of his friends, mainly namjoon. taehyung quickly came to the conclusion of just making sure to tell jungkook every little thing that happened.

"tell jungkook i say hello," namjoon interrupted, not noticing how deep into his own mind taehyung was. namjoon was very eager to see his friend, it had been too long, with no way to contact him besides through taehyung as jungkook didn't think he needed a phone, though he could now get one.

"i will." taehyung felt the need to reassure namjoon because sometimes taehyung needed that too. with jungkook gone, sometimes he just needed to hear his voice to know everything would be okay, and tae didn't know what could be going on with namjoon.

the six men continued chatting and somehow evolved into a talk about hoseok's and seokjin's sex life, which taehyung was quick to change because he didn't want to know about that. but otherwise everything else seemed to be flowing well, and it wasn't awkward. it was as if they had been spending time together all along.

"what are your plans for the future?" seokjin asked jimin, as he was trying to think of his own plan. and he was seated next to the smaller man, so he turned to him to talk first. but he wanted to hear the most amount of input he could because he had no clue what he would do without the parlor anymore.

"well, i'm working a normal job that's pretty close to here, and i'm just going to continue that and live with yoongi and namjoon. we can't get married, and none of us want children too much. we'll probably travel some, find something new to experience."

"do you think you'd ever move here?" seokjin wanted to know if he could gather all of his friends back in this one town. maybe the town would welcome them the same as they welcomed taehyung. they didn't share the same amount of tattoos and looked less intimidating. seokjin hoped they all could adjust as smoothly as taehyung.

what jimin said didn't spark much interest in seokjin, as he didn't want to work at a normal job for the rest of his life. he wanted something different, but he couldn't think of anything, and that's why he needed help.

"you should go out for a day seokjin," yoongi spoke up. he hadn't said anything the entire conversation and was waiting for the right moment. he had done the same. he left for a day and walked around and came to the conclusion to move here, he just hadn't said anything about it yet to his lovers. "just, walk around a new town, not this one. or maybe new streets here you haven't seen. maybe you'll find something that inspires you."

"thanks." seokjin hadn't realized he had been heard talking to jimin and became a tad bit shy at that idea. but he wanted to follow up on what yoongi said because he was usually quite accurate with his words.

"we should all sort out what we want and then come back together," taehyung reasoned, even though he already knew. he just needed time to finish up. "i'm going to go get jungkook from work, i'll see you all soon."
